Hello, lovelies! Donna here on the Kaisercraft blog today sharing a Traveler’s Notebook spread decorated with the brand new Wandering Ivy collection.
I love florals and this collection has tons of floral images and the shades of blue and purple tones that are just simply beautiful.
I also used the coordinating clear stamp in my project today.
First, I converted the photo I used into black and white so the colors will not clash with the colors in the Wandering Ivy collection.
I used a wooden background paper from the 6 1/2 paper pack and then I added another blue floral paper to fill in the gaps. I slightly stamped all over the background to add subtle texture using a couple of Kaisercraft inkpads.
I used the same blue floral paper as matting to the stack of photos. I like adding messy threads to most of my projects and this one is no exception.
I spare the center of the Traveler’s Notebook insert by not adhering anything to the middle.
This will keep it from not closing properly. Just cut the item accordingly if it will happen to be in the middle of the TN insert.
I painted the wood flourishes with white paint first and inked subtlely with Bark Inkpad.
I decorated the left page of the spread with a cluster of ephemera and sticker pieces and wood flourishes.
If you’ll look closely, there is a scatter of glitter tape. You can use this trick to create a confetti background.
Using a regular puncher, I punched several pieces and adhered randomly across the background.
To add more sparkle, I used the Mint Green rhinestones and adhered to the centers of the floral ephemera.
