I love to make co-ordinating sets of cards. Once I have the design I think it makes good sense to repeat it and make multiples. This way I have more cards to share with family and friends. Today I am sharing the instructions to make a set of six cards using the Romantique Collection. Each card follows the same basic design, but is slightly different. These cards are found in this month’s Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine which can be dowloaded here. Full instructions are also include in the magazine.
Kaisercraft Products you Will Need:

Decorative Dies – DD705 Swirl Flourish, DD547 Circle Vines, DD757 Large Flourishes, DD753 Nesting Stitched Rectangle, DD793 Ornate Pack 1
DD793Pearls – Chino,

BRB606 Organza Ribbon,
PT227 Glitter Tape – Gold,
CD511 C6 Card pack – White,
GC105 Glitter Card Stock – Champagne.

Steps to Make the Set of Six Cards:
Select 5 papers from the Paper Pad and cut out with the largest Nesting Stitched Rectangle Die. Adhere to the front cover of each of the C6 Card bases and trim the Card Base to fit the Nesting Die exactly.
Take gold foil lace paper from Paper Pad and cut into strips. Adhere one lace strip onto each card next to some gold Glitter tape vertically to the left-hand side of the page.
Select another 5 papers from the Paper Pad and cut out with the 8cm x 10cm (3 inches x 4 inches) Nesting Stitched Rectangle Die. Layer onto the centre left-hand side of the card with foam tape.
Cut six photo corners from the Ornate Pack 1 Decorative Die out of Champagne Glitter Card Stock and adhere to each card in the top right-hand corner.
Fussy cut six gold frames from GOLD FRAMES – GOLD FOIL 12×12 paper
Cut 2 x Large Flourish Dies, 1 Swirl Flourish Die and 1 Circle Vine Die from paper in Paper Pad. Layer dies under gold frames with cheese cloth. Mount gold fames with foam tape.
Fussy cut some floral clusters, birds on a branch and butterflies from PARISIAN. Layer fussy cut images and collectables onto front of cards. Choose a sentiment for each card from the Paper Pad or Collectables and adhere to card in the bottom right hand corner of the card.
Embellish with Dusty Pink Mini Paper Blooms, Chino Pearls and Organza Bows.
The Romantique Collection is just the prettiest…I adore the gold touches and the romantic images.
Let me know if you decide to re-create these cards or use them as inspiration for your own design. I would love to see what you make.
It’s Renee Aslette here to share with you my new Kaisercraft Large Planner, and some of the planner layouts I have started creating for November using the Romantique Collection.
When this beauty arrived I was so excited. This planner is just so classic with rose gold foil accents. I knew Romantique would be the perfect collection to start with.
This is the inside of the cover. I have added embellishments to the pockets in the front left of the planner. These can come in useful at any time to help me plan. I used the Romantique Collection Collectables for this.
I cut out a dashboard to go behind the amazing transparency using the P2427 Eiffel. I then added a collectable that says “You are Amazing.” I cut out a butterfly from the Specialty Transparency, hole punched and added to the bottom D Ring.
I know from my own experience, that I don’t always get to use some of those amazing quotes on the Sticker Sheet, so why not use them on your planner? We all need some inspiration.
That beautiful Rose Collectable fitted perfectly on the page.
The second week of my planner seen a slightly different colour scheme, but still using the Romantique Collection. Another quote was perfect.
I layered the Collectables from this collection on this planner layout.
I also made a butterfly paper clip to take me to the page that I have a bill to be paid for, like a reminder. I made the paperclip by using a Collectable and then enforcing the paperclip between two layers with strong glue.
I really hope you have enjoyed this different way to use your Kaisercraft Collections.
See you next time.

Are you loving the Romantique Collection as much as I am?
There are lots of lovely pastel colours in this collection, but today I picked out the more natural tones to suit my photograph.
This collection has a beautiful page of butterflies. I adore butterflies and I love to use them in my projects. They make creating so easy. I fussy cut some from this paper and then used them in my Layout.
I also wanted to use a new Template:
IT455 6×6 Designer Template – Fleur Damask
and one of my old favourites:
IT001 Designer Templates – Cherry Blossom
I filmed a Process Video of how I made the layout if you would like to take a look…
I used two Decorative Dies in my Layout:
DD547 – Circle Vines
and my trusty favourite:
DD757 Large Flourishes
I wove these dies in and out of the butterflies in my diagonal design.
I painted some Wooden Flourishes with Gold paint and added them into the design.
FL613 Flourish Pack – Pretty
Mini Paper Blooms
I also added in some Mini Paper Blooms for added texture:
F645 – Honey
F644 – Coconut
I hope you like the layout. I am in love with the Romantique Collection and I had a lovely time putting together my layout.
