Affirmation Cards – By Rikki G

January 2, 2019

Good morning how are you? Rikki here to kick off the new month and to share one of own new Kaisercraft Collections – Blessed – IN STORE NOW!!!!

Whats not to love about this collection…… the bright colours with a touch of gold foil, and as it title suggest its a collection that reminds you of what you should be thankful and BLESSED for, and with a New Year its a great collection to help you with this process.

So I am kicking off this reflection with some Affirmation Cards and maybe it might inspire you if your are doing this years #littleword……

PAPERS: EVERLASTING Collection: PP1059 Paper Pad, CT952 Collectables

KC PRODUCTS: IP743 Spearmint, IP740 Cotton Candy, IP736 Blush Ink Pad, CD650 Smooth White Cardstock, T321 Acid Free Craft Glue

Step 1:

Cut some card stock to small squares I chose to 8.5 cm x 8.5 cm (4”x 4”)… I also used the KAISERCRAFT SMOOTH CARD STOCK, rather than one with a weave, I find that this works the best with the KAISER INK and water… so you dont see the layers of colour and water in between the weave. Plus it has minimal warping with it dries.

Step 2:

Place some KAISER INK onto some old packaging making sure the colour is on the plastic – mist with a little water…. and place onto the cardstock.

(To see this and how its done pop over to the Kaisercraft Youtube channel)

Step 3:

Fussy cut some of the black and white flowers out of the PAPER PAD and also cut some black and white stripe paper into small feature strips, you can use the this pattern out of the PAPER PAD also.

Step 4:

Now its time to construct the affirmation cards…….
