A Frosted Christmas

September 7, 2016

Hi everyone, Sonia here with the absolutely amazing ‘Frosted’ Collection! The colour palette in this collection will have you reaching for your Christmas photos in no time at all with the beautiful silvery blues, greys and white.

When I opened this collection, there was one of the patterned papers that just leapt out at me – it was so different and so beautiful! I can imagine all sorts of uses for the ‘Blizzard’ Foil and Die Cut paper (PS464). The detail and depth to the image on this paper is simply stunning!

‘Merry Christmas’

Kaisercraft products used: P2166 ‘Arctic’ | PS464 ‘Blizzard’ | FL584 Flourish Pack Snowflakes | SB2115 10″ Frame | PT226 Steel Glitter Tape | GC103 Platinum Glitter Cardstock | DD735 Uppercase Alphabet Die | ST920 Clear Stickers Merry Christmas | ST921 Clear Stickers Seasons Greetings | SB700 Silver Rhinestones | F636 Ruby Paper Blooms | F653 Ruby Mini Blooms | F630 Iceberg Paper Blooms | EM995 Paper Leaves

Other: Diamond Dust, Silver Embossing Powder | Florists Wire, Berries

I wanted to hang this on my wall so I felt I needed to add some depth to the frame. First I took the 10″ Frame and inserted the ‘Arctic’ paper. Then I edged the frame with the Steel Glitter Tape – Christmas projects always needs a bit of sparkle!!!

Next I cut out the centre piece of the ‘Blizzard’ paper and then edged the inside with some of the Steel Glitter Tape to help blend my pieces together:

Then it was a matter of having some fun and embellish away!

I used the gorgeous Glitter Cardstock in Platinum with the Uppercase Alphabet Die to cut out the title:

The Flourish Pack Snowflakes add dimension and sparkle when heat embossed in silver and some Silver Rhinestones added:

Hopefully you are feeling a little bit of that Christmas magic and are in the mood to either get ahead on your Christmas creating or maybe just catch up on last years photos!

Happy creating!

The layout is lovely. I like the idea of doing a frame. I like the neutral tones with the pops of red and green. Thx
