We are all going on a summer holiday……

December 1, 2010

with the new Seaside Collection!

Trudi, LG and Lesley here to showcase the new and sensational Seaside Collection.

The Seaside collection is full of  gorgeous, summery colours and is perfect for scrapping our summer memories.  Cool blue, yellow and red feature predominately along with images associated with summery, tropical fun including hibiscus flowers, boat sheds and surfboards.    There is also a new addition of Canvas Tags and Printed Tickets which add extra variety to the embellishment choice.

Check out the complete Seaside collection HERE

Lesley: The beach and / or water is such an essential element of  summer for my family and the seaside collection is perfect for scrapping these sorts of memories. With the “Free”  layout I have used the scallops in the paper pad to mimic waves. I have also added dimensional magic over the title to look like water. With the “Fun” layout I have used photos of the kids and their friends jumping on the trampoline with the water sprinkler. I have cut a journal tag in half  and used both halved to make it longer.

“Free” by Lesley Cooper: Seaside Collection Patterned Paper Umbrella (P591), Escape (P593); Journal Tags (JT610);  Paper Pad (PP834); Canvas Tags (EM942); Mini Alpha Stickers (MA502); Alpha Chipboard (CB109); Other: string

“Fun” by Lesley Cooper: Seaside Collection Patterned Paper Umbrella (P591), Rock Pools (P592), Sea Breeze (P594); Die cut Elements (DC330); Printed Chipboard (CB118); Paper Pad (PP834); Foam Tape (T303); Alpha Stickers (AS226); Other: white cardstock.

Trudi: This collection screams summer fun!   Warmer weather makes the beach a happy place and  catching waves is a certain beach recipe for fun – especially when they get you!

‘Catching Waves’ by Trudi Harrison.  Materials Used: Seaside Collection Rock Pools (P592), Escape (P593), Coastline (P595), Island Die Cut Gloss (PS127), Summer Days Die Cut with Gloss (PS128), Paper Pad (PP834), Printed Chipboard (CB118), Canvas Tags (EM942), Chipboard Alphas # 3 (CB109), Corn Ink, Glue Dots, Foam Tape.  Other: Stickles, Ink, Border Punch

Both of the Die Cuts with Gloss – ‘Island’ and ‘Summer Days’  feature along with lots of layering.   I have layered various patterned papers, scalloped trims and die cut  from the Paper Pad,  printed chipboard,  hibiscus flowers which have been cut out from ‘Summer Days’ and a canvas tag.

LG says: I love the vibrant and bold colours of this line. All the red, yellow and blue creates a warm feel to it. It is perfect for this photo of my mom, dad and my daughter taken last year.

“Lolo’t Lola” (Grandma & Grandpa) by LG Belarmino.  Materials Used: Seaside Collection – Rock Pools (P592), Escape (P593), Escape (P593), Umbrella (P591), Summer Days Die Cut with Gloss (PS128), Printed Chipboard (CB118), Life’s moments Rub ons (RB810), Ink, Glue Dots, Foam Tape.
