Tuesday Tip: Wooden Flourishes

February 21, 2012

Welcome to our Tuesday tip for another week! Today we have Hilde Janbroers showing us another way of using Wooden Flourishes!

Hilde Says:
“I have made a layout and have used wooden flourishes, but not in the way you’d think! Instead of sticking them on the layout, I did masking with the wooden flourishes! It’s always fun to try something new and use embellishments in a different way!

Materials used
Technologique Collection;- papers Abort ( P811), Pixel (P809), Delete (PS198), Collectables (CT710), Mini Paper Blooms- Sea Breeze (F648), Wooden flourishes Locks & Hinges (FL330),
rub ons Family (RB910).

Other materials; Tattered Angels Glimmermist Olive Vine, Tim Holtz alternations rosette die, my little shoe box chipboard alphabet.

A friend of mine that teaches scrapbooking in northern Queensland has been doing heaps of masking on her layouts…… and I just love the effect it gives. Seems to give a layout depth without bulk.
