Tuesday Tip: Windmills

Hello Everyone!

Today we have Janna Werner as our Tutor for the Tuesday Tip:

Sometimes you need a last minute decoration… today I would like to show you, how to create a super fun and easy windmill decoration.

Materials Used:
6 ½ Paper Pad (Little Toot Collection), Pearl Brads, Mini Crochet Doilies, wooden picks, glue, scissors, paper pieces, punches

To create the mini windmills, you will need some 6 1/2x 6 ½ Kaisercraft paper pad, Pearl Brads, Mini Crochet Doilies and wooden picks.

Fold the paper diagonally in both directions. Do not use a bone folder as you don’t want sharp edges.

Cut along the created lines, stop approximately 1cm before reaching the center of the paper. Punch a hole into the left side of each triangle and in the middle of the paper.

Push the pearl brad through the Crochet Doilie, all holes and finally through the hole in the middle of the paper.

Glue the wooden pick to the back of the windmill and bend the clip around it.

Instead of adding a crochet doilie you could also use a punched piece of paper.

Too cool. These would be great as a garland too

Lovely tutorial :) I learnt how to make these recently and am loving them! They’re so cute! Now I just have to work out how to make them spin :)
