Tuesday Tip – Dimensional MDF Butterfly

March 19, 2013

Hi Everyone,

Joanne here to show you a little tipΒ about how I made my butterfly more dimensional for my Butterfly 3D Wall Art.

Kaisercraft Materials Used – The butterfly from SB2230 3D Butterfly Wall Art & a sharp craft blade.

Step 1 – Holding your butterfly firmly simply cut into the butterfly on either side of where its body would be. Because this board is quiet soft it will cut quiet easily with a sharp knife. *Note – you only want the cut to go about halfway through.

Step 2 – Once you have cut the sides of your butterfly simply pull the wings back to the desired dimension. Cover or paint as required.

There you have it a even more dimensional butterfly for your wall art.

Hope my tip has given you a bit of inspiration for today.

Thanks for stopping by :)
