Tuesday Tip: Corn Flower Punch

Hello Kaisercrafties! We hope your week has started off well! Today is our Tuesday Tip..and we have Michelle Frisby showing us how to make the most out of a Corn Flower punch!

Michelle Says:
“Just prior to Christmas I came across a cornflower punch – at a bargain price, so I wanted to show you today a great way of using it!

I punched out six cornflowers, I pierced them through the middle with my paper piercer, popped in a Kaisercraft pearl brad and then with my finger nails, I have brushed them upwards, layer by layer – how easy is that?!”

“I’ve run a Cherry Lynn die through my Cuttlebug and then punched out some leaves.”

“I have used one of these flowers on a box I made (below). To make it, I started with a piece of muslin, hot glued to the top of my box and then with a little layering of the die cuts, and leaves this way and that way, I’ve built my own wee topper for the top of my box.
The top and the bottom of this sweet little box is made using the paper pad from These Days collection from Kaisercraft.”

”To share with you another example, I’ve whipped up a card where I have used the same wee cornflower punch and with a whole lot of layering, built up a these clusters.”

Materials used :  These Days Collection … P800 reunion, PP863 paper pad, pearl brad, chocolate pearl strips

Extras : punches – cornflower, leaf punch and Cherry Lynn die, muslin, hat pin, miscellaneous brads

“I love being creative with flowers, whether I add layers to bought flowers or make my own.
Happy creating everyone.”
