“Be Bold” Layout by Donna Espiritu

The Scrap Studio is perfect for any crafter especially the encouraging and inspiring word arts you will find from papers to ephemera to stickers.
I focused on the design of my layout around these beautiful and positive words.

PAPERS: Scrap Studio Paper Collection – P2638 Tarnished, P2637 Coarse
KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS: CT948 Scrap Studio Collectables, PS544 Collage Gloss Specialty Paper, SS374 Sticker Sheet,
PP1055 Paper Pad, FL63 Flourish Pack Artist, Kaiser Mists – KM121 White Iridescent, KM123 Rose Gold Iridescent, KM132 Gold Shimmer,
EM405 Paper Doilies, RS403 Antique Rose, IP736 Blush Dye Ink

The specialty glossy paper is a great way to start a mixed media background.
The surface is already textured so you just have to add color and voila, instant beautiful textures.
I used a diluted Kaiser Mist to add the color.

I’ve fussy cut flowers and butterflies patterns both from the 12 x 12 papers and 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 paper pad.

I love the mixture of colors with a touch of black from the word arts and raw wood flourishes.

Donna Espiritu Full Bloom Scrapbooking layout

“You Make My Life Beautiful” | Donna Espiritu

June 11, 2018

Hello, beautiful Kaisercraft readers! Donna here with my personal post using one of Kaisercraft’s newest collections,

“Full Bloom”

I’m adding this to one of my favorites because of the gorgeous floral patterns, the soft pastel colors and the rose gold foiling in this collection. And the wood background! Totally swoon-worthy!

I used this distressed wood paper as the background/base to my layout. I just love how it made the colorful papers and embellishments stand out.

Then I added strips to the top part using a border punch to one of the strips.

The pink and white splatters tie up the top part and bottom part together. So it doesn’t look like disconnected.

I adhered the smaller paper strips in the middle using foam tape for dimension. I alternated the patterns and colors with a doily and white thread to create interest. I downloaded a bow pattern from the internet (just type “bow template” in the search button and you’d see a lot of different templates. Just get save and use the one you like) and made one and accentuated the bottom of the photo with it. I just traced it with pencil and fussy cut with scissors.

I used one of the word arts in the sticker sheet as the layout’s title. I adhered it to the bottom part of the layout using foam tape.

Art Foam Sheets Donna Espiritu Stargazer

Stargazer Layout by Donna Espiritu

May 18, 2018

Hello everyone! Donna here with a project using the Stargazer collection.

I knew I wanted to create a scrapbook layout using one of the many photos of my daughter while she’s asleep. I love taking photos of her while she looks like a little angel… coz when once she wakes up, well… you know what happens when our little angels are awake :D

So on to my layout… I turned my photo into black and white so it will blend beautifully with the colors of the Stargazer collection.

The background paper already has dark blue splatters but I still added more using white, black, turquoise and lavender misting sprays. After placing everything I splattered all the misting sprays again with the photo covered so it won’t get any unwanted splatters.

I used the Navy art foam sheet to create the flowers and accentuated them with Ice Blue Rhinestones. It turned out really pretty! Love the contrast of the dark blue flowers and how the rhinestones sparkle. I only used two layers of art foam flowers though compared to the others I did with 3-4 layers. The dark color and the petals already made the flowers look fuller so I kept it with just two layers.

Using foam dots really create depth or dimension to any project. I’ve used it to adhere the doily and photo. As well as some of the Collectables and art foam flowers. I’ve also added word art strips and stickers as the final touch to my layout.

Kaisercraft Products:  Stargazer Collection – P2535 Milky Way (Reverse) | P2537 Orbit | SS363 Stargazer Sticker Sheet | CT937 Stargazer Collectables | SF916 Navy Art Foam Sheet | SB774 Ice Blue Rhinestones | T302 Mounting Foam Tapes | T321 Acid-Free Craft Glue

OTHER: Doily | Thread | White, Turquoise, Black and Lavender Misting Sprays

**********

That’s all from me today! I really hope you liked my Stargazer layout as much as I do!

Thanks for dropping by and happy crafting!

xoxo,

Donna

Design Team Do not use this category Fleur Jowilna Nolte Layouts

Creating a Sticker mat behind a photo by Jowilna Nolte.

April 19, 2018

Welcome to today’s post. I love the sticker sheets with each range, but I don’t use them nearly enough. This month I am on a mission to try and use my stickers in creative ways
on my layouts and cards. And in fact I have managed to use almost every single sticker from my sheets -mission accomplished.

For this layout I stencilled a portion behind my photo using the Kaisercraft brick stencil in orange and pink ink.
On top of the stenciling I added stickers from the Fleur Collection that just peak out behind my photo creating an interesting effect.
The stickers look like a creative matting behind the photo with lots of interest.

A few flowers and a title cut from the patterned paper sheet is used around the photo – because who doesn’t love these gorgeous flowers.

A favorite sticker for me are these washi tape strips. They are so versatile.

What have you done lately with this beautiful range lately? And more importantly your stickers?
Share how you are inspired by the sticker sheets this month with your unique creations – we would love to see your work.

Fairy Garden Kavitha Scrapbooking layout Specialty Papers

We make our own fairytale – Layout by Kavitha

March 22, 2018

Hello everyone!! Kavitha with you here today with a new inspiration using beautiful “Fairy garden” collection. This collection is definitely one of my most favorite ever, fairies and gardens are always my favorite subject plus the pastel shades and gorgeous florals makes it even more beautiful.

I decided to make a layout using the gorgeous die cut specialty paper, now it makes everything even more magical, doesn’t it?

I fussy cut lots of flowers, birds and other images  from the paper collection.I wanted them to be in varied dimension,so i cut few papers from the collection into 3 by 4 and 4 by 5 inches size, glue them together with chipboard in between each layers. While i stick them,i just put the glue in the center so that i can easily tuck in the flowers and other embellishments between the layers.

I have also used foam dots to the top layer of  flowers, fairies and butterflies for more dimension

The fairies and butterflies are cut from 12*12 specialty paper with glitters, isn’t it so gorgeous?
