Everlasting Specialty Die Cut by Lisa Amiet

December 17, 2018

Hello, it’s Lisa here again today, to share some more Die Cut specialty paper inspiration with you all.

This project is using the oh so gorgeous and romantic Everlasting Collection.

PAPERS: EVERLASTING Collection: PS547 Be Mine Specialty Paper,
PS548 Damask – Flocked Specialty Paper,
P2649 Amore, P2650 Bloom, P2651 XO, P2657 Love You, PP1057 Paper Pad.
KC PRODUCTS: CD101 12 x 12 Coconut Cardstock, CS853 Flutter Texture Stamp,
Ink Pad – IP740 Cotton Candy, Kaiser Mist – KM132 – Gold Shimmer, Pearls – SB789 Chino.
OTHER: Cardboard

For this layout I have used the gorgeous Be Mine – Die Cut
that I wanted to use as the feature of my layout.

I really wanted the frame to stand out so I have cut the centre out,
so I raised it with cardboard, then layered onto Bloom (reverse).

I have then layered this onto white cardstock and framed it with XO (reverse).
I have added a little bit of stamping to the background.

I have fussy cut some of the damasks from Damask – Flocked, and cut these pieces to use on my layout.

I added in some layers  and one of my wedding photos.

To finish I have added some pearls to the doily.

You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

You can find the Everlasting Collection at your local stockist now or online at
Kaiserstyle.

“Be Bold” Layout by Donna Espiritu

The Scrap Studio is perfect for any crafter especially the encouraging and inspiring word arts you will find from papers to ephemera to stickers.
I focused on the design of my layout around these beautiful and positive words.

PAPERS: Scrap Studio Paper Collection – P2638 Tarnished, P2637 Coarse
KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS: CT948 Scrap Studio Collectables, PS544 Collage Gloss Specialty Paper, SS374 Sticker Sheet,
PP1055 Paper Pad, FL63 Flourish Pack Artist, Kaiser Mists – KM121 White Iridescent, KM123 Rose Gold Iridescent, KM132 Gold Shimmer,
EM405 Paper Doilies, RS403 Antique Rose, IP736 Blush Dye Ink

The specialty glossy paper is a great way to start a mixed media background.
The surface is already textured so you just have to add color and voila, instant beautiful textures.
I used a diluted Kaiser Mist to add the color.

I’ve fussy cut flowers and butterflies patterns both from the 12 x 12 papers and 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 paper pad.

I love the mixture of colors with a touch of black from the word arts and raw wood flourishes.

You can find the PDF instruction HERE and the complete list of supplies I used in this project.

Donna Espiritu Gypsy Rose Mixed Media Scrapbooking layout Tutorials

“You are good for my soul” Gypsy Rose Layout

July 10, 2018

Hello, lovelies! I hope you’re all having a great day! It’s Donna here with a scrapbook layout using one of the newest collections this month, Gypsy Rose.

Here is what I came up with

I started with a blank white cardstock, cutting an inch off of two sides.

Then I mixed brown and pink watercolors and splattered some on the cardstock. If you flick the brush a bit closer to the surface, it will create small splatters. So if you flick the brush farther, it will create bigger splatters.

I let the watercolor splatters stay for a while, letting it seep through the cardstock, before using a piece of plastic to spread and flatten the splatters. I also used a piece of tissue to get some of the water so the colors won’t be too bright. I just want a hint of watercolor on the background. After this has dried, I mounted the cardstock on a patterned paper.

I used this beautiful Decorative Die, Crochet Doilie, to cut a bronze glitter cardstock. I started off with this to decorate/embellish the layout.

Mounting it with a foam tape, I placed it like so and then added an array of embellishments below it to mimic a dream catcher.
I used both stickers and die cuts from the Collectables pack. Some were mounted using foam tapes for dimension and some were simply glued on top or under a piece of another embellishment.

It really is quite simple and easy!

Here are more close up shots of the finished layout

Kaisercraft Products: Gypsy Rose Collection – P2568 Inspiring | SS367 Sticker Sheet | CT941 Collectables | DD818 Floral Dream Catcher Decorative Die | GC106 Bronze Glitter Cardstock | F639 Fuchsia Paper Blooms | CD101 Coconut | T302 Mounting Foam Dots T321 Acid-Free Craft Glue

Others: White Thread | Watercolors

That’s all for today! Thanks for dropping by!

Happy crafting!
