Sweet siblings – scrapbook layout and video tutorial by Terhi Koskinen

May 16, 2017

Hello Kaisercrafters, Terhi Koskinen here back with you!

Today I’m sharing a layout featuring the gorgeous ‘Sage and Grace’ collection, and I made a full video tutorial for you to watch. The layout might look tricky and layered, but actually it is super quick and easy to do.

I started by choosing papers, which was super hard as all the colors and patterns are so wonderful in this collection! I ended up to strongest floral pattern and cut a big piece to work as a background.

Used a lot of collectables too. There is nothing better than matching papers and embellishments!

Take a look to the video, enjoy watching and thank you for joining me here today!

Have a great day!

Terhi xx

The Best Day Layout with Anita Bownds

May 1, 2017
Hi there Kaisercrafters
Anita here with you today sharing a shabby chic layout and process video
This collection was just perfect for creating those flower clusters of fussy cut flowers
when I first opened this collection and looked ,I was totally excited to create something cute.
And what better way then a shabby chic hot air balloon
With fussy cut flowers, embossed vellum and clusters of die cuts
I started with my hot air balloon cut file , as I knew I wanted it to be 12 inches in height!
Making it the main focus of the layout I add 2 different patterned papers behind it to give it colour
And used some double sided foam dots to adhere it down

Check out my process video here
Then I started with the clusters of flowers die cut and fussy cut
I also added the floral border sticker at the bottom to add more flowers
Along with stamping the flower stamp from the stamp set and embossing with white embossing powder on vellum
I fussy cut them out and added them under my die cut flowers

I used some of the wood flourishes and tucked them under my flower clusters
The fussy cut flowers I tucked just under the edge of the balloon

I Matted on 2 different patterned papers keeping it minimal but adding colour around the photo
I also add a few butterflies on the balloon near the flower clusters

Here you can see the close up of the vellum and floral sticker how it all blends in giving it a fuller design

Beautiful memories Layout and process video with Anita Bownds

April 3, 2017
Hi there,
Anita here sharing with you today a layout and process video
With this layout I was inspired by a Alice in wonderland quote I found on Pinterest
I wanted to include the quote on my page but I didn’t want it to be the focal point

Just faint in the background of the layout to add texture

I started by choosing 2 patterned papers from the collection that would would help my

Quote I chose blend in my background of my layout.

I thought the wood grain P2278 Biscuit with the grey and white polka dot P2281 Afternoon Tea would go perfectly together

If you would like to try this idea I’ve included the cut file png that I made to use on my page

Here is my process video I hope you enjoy it ..

After adhering the 2 bits of 12×12 patterned papers together
I wanted to add colour to the top and bottom to have that even colour throughout the layout so I added to stripes of p2279 tea leaves at the top and bottom
I also wanted to cluster the die cut embellishments beside the photo
I also added a few die cuts and sticker to the top to add extra dimension
And to give the silhouette cut Quote a little extra pop I used a lead pencil and just traced around the words

And I couldn’t go past adding some fussy cut flowers around my photo

And I done the same at the bottom with a added extra wood bit from the tea party flourish pack

And to finish it off I added a few flicks of black mist

P2279 tea leaves |Pp1017 paper pad |SS336 sticker sheet |CT879 collectables

Beautiful Layout and process video with Anita Bownds

March 7, 2017
Hi there,

Anita here sharing a layout and process video using the lovely wild flower collection

The colours in this collection are absolutely beautiful perfect for crafty peeps who don’t like to use a lot of water colours and like a clean layout

I started with a simple design in mind going down the middle of the layout
Using the striped pink patterned paper at the top of my layout and adding the floral water colour strip to the centre and machine stitched on both sides

Here is my process video of how I created my layout

I used a cut file that I cut out of cardstock tucking it behind my photo layers
I layered a few patterned paper behind my photo

I used the die cut for my title using the watercolour flowers from the collectables to help my title pop

I used the quote card from the collectables to add another pop of bright pink beside the photo and a little flower

Product used

Hexagon Fun With Anita Bownds

February 1, 2017

Hi there,

Anita here with you today sharing a layout and process video
When I first saw this collection I was like oh my gosh….
Those flowers are just beautiful !

So with this layout I new I wanted to create some design going across the page
So I went through my dies and when I found the hexagon die I knew the pattern I wanted to create
I started with my white cardstock and popping colour behind my cardstock using
P2247 Ohana B side and machine stitched around the border of the cardstock
Then using the hexagon die I cut out some from P2242 Aloha and PS472 Rattan

Here is my process video

I used one of my silhouette cut files flower doily to go behind my photo layers

I used the wood flourishes and the collectables to embellish my layout

Around my photo and at the top left hand corner

I added a phrase sticker at the top of my photo

The collectable words are perfect for a title and are great for clustering
