Mini alpha stickers

Hey Birdie multi photo layout

June 20, 2010

The colours of the Hey Birdie range makes me think of girly layouts…and I just knew that these photos of my daughter would work perfectly with this range!

Sweeter than sweet – Elizna Parsons : Hey Birdie papers, Kaisercraft pearl strips, Rhinestones, 6 x 6 paper pad, Alpha Stickers, Chipboard Lettering, Mini alpha stickers

I used P512 Skedaddle paper as my background and layered more Hey Birdie papers on top. I then added the photo frames and all the little embellishments….some I have cut out from the paper and others are from the Hey Birdie 6 x 6 paper pad. I added lots of bling and pearls, too!

For the title I have used both Kaisercraft Alpha Stickers and matching chipboard letters, as well as the Kaisercraft mini alpha stickers.

A few close-ups of details on this layout:

I must confess…I do not enjoy cutting out lots of little bitties, but for this page it worked so well! I might just do it again…{smile}!

House mini album

June 16, 2010

What better way to remember the houses that you have lived in, than to make a mini album to preserve the memory. Here I have used the Konstrukt range and the house album, I have kept the design simple so that the album will withstand the many hands that will touch it. Instead of album rings I have used cable ties to hold the album together.

Our House by Rona Bailey

Whether your house is where you would like to live forever, or it’s just a stepping stone to your dream house, the memories are always there, record each room so your family can treasure their time spent there.

I added a vintage key, and corrugated cardboard for the roofing to complete the album.

Products Used:

Konstrukt papers, Kaisercraft House mini album, Kaisercraft mini alpha stickers, Kaisercraft alpha stickers, Kaisercraft wooden flourishes (Bird and Frame), Corrugated cardboard, Cable ties

Kaisercraft – Tea at Elsie’s simplistic page

June 14, 2010

Today I am showing you an easy way to quickly scrap 7 favourite photos…these are things that make me happy all together on one quick and easy single layout!

I have used 4 papers from the Tea at Elsie’s collection,  a wooden embellishment, buttons and the stunning Kaisercraft lettering – the chipboard with matching stickers and small alpha stickers.

The lace edge paper forms a stunning border around the page. Added to that two die-cut photo frames into which 7 photos fits nicely. I sanded the edges of the photos to make them stand up against the dark photo frames. A simple torn piece of paper makes a lovely border next to the photo frames. Added embellishments are the hand stitching, little ribbon folds and the punched swirly border. I have used one of the photo “spaces” for the title.

I must confess I love the new single colour letter stickers from Kaisercraft that fits perfectly onto the chipboard…letters are now available in fairy floss, hot pink, white, cream, plum, avocado, powder blue, brown, black…to name a few! A pretty title just adds flair to any layout!

This makes me happy: Elizna Parsons: Tea at Elsie’s papers, Alpha stickers, Mini alpha stickers, Wooden Flower {SB731 Button Flowers}, Tea at Elsie’s 6 x 6 paper pad

Herewith a few details from close-up:

I used shimmer mist on the wooden flower to add a little sparkle…and I used thread to sew the buttons onto the page…it just looks more “finished” that way!

What are the things that make you happy? Go forth and scrap them!

Jungle Bug Double Layout

May 21, 2010

Here I have  double page layout, I cut large circles from the patterned papers and scalloped the edge of each circle, I traced the title letters onto some patterned paper and then cut them out and dooodled around the edge before adding them to the layout. I doodled and pleated the paper strips before adding them also.

Kaisercraft Jungle Bug Party

May 19, 2010

With my youngest sons 5th birthday soon approaching, the Jungle Bug range of products have inspired me to create invitations and party favours in readiness for the big day.

I made a goodie bag from a 12 by 12  sheet of patterned paper and used the 6 by 6 paper pad die cuts and papers to decorate, I kept all of the designs simple so that they can be made quickly, the bow for the top of the present was made with the left over scraps of paper.
