How to use a Die Cut Page.

October 17, 2018

Today the design team will share a few layouts using one the die cut paper CERAMIC.

Just looking at it there are so many different ideas floating in my mind of how to use this page.

Use the whole piece as a background
Cut the square out from the centre and use the outside as a frame
Use the 4 tiles in the middle as a whole or cut up separately and layer

Both Renee and Kasia have cut up segments of the border and used them in their layering of papers.

Captured in our heart Forever – Renee Aslett

Thankful, Grateful, Blessed – Kasia Leach

Lisa has used the whole die cut as a background for her layout

Blessed – Lisa Amiet

and Alicia has used the whole die cut, cut into two pieces and featured as the focal point of a double layout.

Thankful – Alicia McNamara

How to Use Coordinating Stamps on your Layout

October 9, 2018

Our Coordinating Clear Stamps are not only designed with card makers in mind
but can be used on your layouts as well as two of our talented design team show you below.

BLESSED – by Terhi Kosinen

Terhi shows you how to emboss this gorgeous flower cluster onto your layout.

Terhi has stamped several times, the image using clear embossing ink
to the background and then sprinkled it with rose gold embossing powder.
When heat activated  this image stands out from the page, giving the layout another texture.
Combined with other layered elements she has created a gorgeous dreamy layout.

Click on the above layout to download step by step instructions or watch the video to follow how this was created.

THANKFUL – Jowilna Nolte

In the below layout Jowilna has again used the embossing technique but in reverse to above.
This time the image has been stamped using black ink and embossed using a clear embossing powder.

Images were then fussy cut out, coloured and added to the layout.
