Kavitha Layouts Tutorial Tuesday

Enjoy the little things – Layout + photo tutorial by Kavitha

October 24, 2017

Hello everyone!!

Kavitha here today sharing a layout using “Rose avenue” collection. This collection must be one of my all time favorites,if you are a shabby chic lover like me then this collection is a must have.

To begin with i cut out the circle shape from the die cut paper and distressed the edges using sand block.

Sponged some ink on the edges using “Orchid” ink pad

I glued the circle to the paper “Suite” and applied “Orchid” ink through “Tile pattern” template

Next i applied some  modelling paste through mini designer template “Blossom”

I used some floral borders from the sticker sheet, cut them into few pieces and arranged them around one half of the circle

Next step is to fussy cut some flowers from papers “Patio” and “Courtyard”

Now keeping the photo as focal point i arranged the florals in such a way everything lies on one half  of the circle to balance the layout.

Here is my completed layout,i also added some die cuts flowers and leaves from the collectables. To match the purple in the photo i added some flourish die cuts using the gorgeous glitter cardstock “Blossom”

I added some pearls and rhinestones randomly and finished off the layout with the title from the sticker sheet.

Some close ups…

Factory 42 Kavitha Layouts

Layout with Factory 42 by Kavitha

August 24, 2017

Hello everyone,

Kavitha here with my first post.I am excited beyond words and so looking forward to a wonderful creative journey with amazing kaisercraft products

I love the “Factory 42” collection. It has the perfect mix of dark and light colors with a bit of grunge which makes it suitable for any kind of project(not just masculine!!).I am not very fond of brown color, but this collection has some beautiful papers in shades of brown.I have used B side of “Pipe works” paper for my layout.

.First i created the background using mini designer template “Metal plates”and  black soot distress ink, then applied some modelling paste through text stencil. Then created my composition using some layers of papers from the same collection.I love all the industrial elements in the “Collectables”.I haves used lots of them and some stickers to embellish my layout

I distressed all the die cuts with little bit of white gesso  to elevate it from the background, and splattered lots of white paint around the layout. Finally  added some turquoise color acrylic paint to match the photo.

Glitter Cardstock Layouts Scrapbooking layout step by step Tatiana Yemelyaneko Tutorial Tuesday Tutorials Ubud Dreams

Tutorial Tuesday with Tatiana!

January 24, 2017

Hello Kaisercraft fans!

Tatiana Yemelyanenko is here with you today and I’d like to share my two layouts featuring amazing January collection ‘Ubud Dreams’.

For my first layout I chose this year Christmas photo of my daughter. Palette of ‘Ubud Dreams’ collection fits it perfectly I think. I also created photo step by step tutorial with process of creating it.

I used Sekar as the background for this layout. Then I cut out doilies from Bayu paper using precision craft scissors. I also cut some doilies and rectangles from 6 1/2 ” paper pad.

On the next step I cut circles from Lagoon and Platinum glitter cardstock. As I don’t have cutting machine I led around washi tape and cut circles by hand.

Then I embossed silver doilies using vellum and  clear stamps from ‘Ubud Dreams’ collection and cut them.

I also decided to colour wooden flourish using Turquoise Kaiser mist.

Then I arranged fussy cut elements, collectables and stickers around the photo to create flow diagonally across my layout.

On the final step I embellished my laypout with different pearls and rhinestones and added splashes with turquoise and charcoal Kaiser mists.

And my ready project.

And details.

Kaisercraft Products Used: P2233 Sekar | P2240 Bayu | PP1013 Paper Pad | SS330 Sticker Sheet | CT873 Collectables | FL593 Wooden Flourish Pack Feathers| CS280 Clear Stamps | GC110 Glitter Cardstock Lagoon | GC103 Glitter Cardstock Platinum | KM105 Kaiser Mist – Turquoise | KM101 Kaiser Mist – Charcoal | SB775 Rhinestones – Aqua Marine | RS402 Rhinestones – Island Lagoon | SB700 Rhinestones – Silver | SB783 Pearls – Teal | RS418 Sparklets – Sea Breeze | T316 Precision Craft Scissors | T321 Acid Free Craft Glue

Other: Sequins, Embossing Powder, Vellum

My second project is a layout published in January workshop magazine. This layout is about me, my thoughts and decisions I should make this year, so that’s why so many question marks and open doors on the layout. I should choose only one :).

I used Citra paper as a base for this layout. Then cut big doors from  Mantra paper and the sheet with same design from the 6 1/2” paper pad. Cut rectangle frames from glitter cardstock using craft knife. Then layered doors, collectables, frames and stickers around the photo, added wooden arrows, rhinestones and sparklets, glued question mark stickers. On the final step I added splashes using different Kaiser mists.

And some details.
