Creating with Just Believe

November 2, 2012

Just Believe, a gorgeous Kaisercraft Christmas collection.  Let’s see what Trudi and Michelle have made to share with us.

Michelle has a created a gorgeous gift box –

To Gift a Gift by Michelle Frisby

Materials used : Just Believe P956 Remember, P958 Winter, FL447 Wooden Flourishes, Mini Baubles, F638 Paper Bloom – Cranberry, MA508 – Cherry Red Mini Alphas, F644 Mini Paper Bloom – Coconut, IP723 Small Ink Pad – Vintage, IP724 Small Ink Pad – Bark

Extras : cardstock, texture paste, shipping tag, seam binding, butterfly, flower, muslin, mini tags

Michelle says:
“Christmas time, a time for giving and what better way to gift a gift, than boxed, and boxed again.  I’ve used a template from ‘My Time Made Easy’ to create the boxes. I’ve dabbed a little texture paste on my finger and I’ve run it around some of the edges, randomly.  My boxes are stacked and packaged in another type of boxing and a little more texture paste has been used.  I’ve grabbed the hot glue gun, added a few embellishments on the top and I know that the recipient is absolutely going to love my gift wrapping.

I have also whipped up a tag in absolutely no time at all, a little ripping and distressing of papers with a little layering, a little muslin, a few embellishments and I was done.”

Trudi has created a sweet angel decoration-

Kaisercraft Materials: Just Believe – P956 Remember, P959 Hymn, P962 Wish List, CT727 Collectables;FL395 Wooden Flourishes Small Keys,  EM946 Crochet Doilies  Scallop Cream, Pearl Brads EM933 Soft Blue

Other: Twine, Tulle, Ribbon, Dies – Butterfly & Heart Circle, EK Success Large Border Punch

“I had lots of fun creating this angel. The base has been created from the reverse side of the Wish List patterned paper.  To dress this little angel,a tulle skirt was added along with some die cut and punched elements from patterned papers.  A crochet doily was also cut up.  The outside edge decorates the bottom of the angel and the middle piece embellishes the top.  Angel wings were created with a butterfly die cut.”

Happy creating everyone”.

‘Just Believe’ in Christmas…

October 31, 2012

Just Believe is an absolutely gorgeous collection to be creative with. Don’t just take our word for it – visit your local scrapbook store or visit them online – as this really is a ‘must have’ to add to your scrapping stash.

Christmas Cards – Michelle Frisby

Materials used : Just Believe Collection; PP881 Paper Pad, Wooden Flourish, FL447 –  2mm Ply Wood Mini Baubles, Foam Adhesive, CT727 Collectables.

Extras : cardstock, dies for shape, seam binding

“It’s coming up to that special time of the year and my Christmas card stash is growing by the week.  The ‘Just Believe’ collection is absolutely stunning and so easy to use.   The 6.5” Paper Pad is absolutely gorgeous, so gorgeous in fact, that another pad is going to have to make its way into my stash … I plan on making a few more cards as a gift set.

Using a Spellbinders metal die and my Cuttlebug, it’s relatively quick to whip up an easel card, a little layering with some foam adhesive and collectables and voila, just like that, a special Christmas card for one of my scrapping friends.

And just because I can, I whipped up another card as well …

Trudi has also created a card with the Just Believe collection –

‘Peace’ by Trudi Harrison

Kaisercraft Materials: Just Believe – P959 Hymn, P960 Keepsakes, CT727 Collectables

“The collectables add a touch a flair to any project – here I have layered a few together along with die cut and punched elements.  For something different, try changing the shape or add decorative edges to the main card structure.”

Happy creating everyone!

Kaisercraft Layouts

Just Believe – Layouts

October 29, 2012

Michelle and Trudi have their final layout showcase for today.  This time with the gorgeous Just Believe collection.

Michelle wishes us all ‘Merry Christmas’ –

‘Merry Christmas’ Layout by Michelle Frisby

Materials used : Just Believe; P960 Keepsakes, PS241 Specialty Die Cut Paper – Wishes, P961 Snowflake, P963 Glisten, CT727 Collectables, FL460 Wooden Flourish – Merry Christmas, Foam Adhesive, Ink Pads

Extras : flowers, baubles, ribbon, texture paste, mask, music paper

Michelle says:
“I’ve layered, I’ve layered and I’ve layered some more putting this layout together.  I’ve inked, scrunched and re-inked the music paper in my layers and lightly distressed the Kaisercraft papers and then inked again.  I’ve used numerous foam squares to lift the layering, just to give it a little more oomph.  On the ‘Wishes Specialty Die Cut’ paper I’ve used a mask and my tube of texture paste and had a ball, although admittedly I did cover up all the masking in the middle of my layout, but these things happen.  I’ve also dabbed texture paste on my finger tip and rubbed it over the wooden flourish as well.
