This truly beautiful collection is just perfect for decorating a bedroom. My girls don’t know it yet but Santa is redecorating their room for christmas from ‘little girl’ to ‘big girl’ and I …. (hm, hmmm) I mean Santa, is using English rose as the theme.

This is what Santa’s little helpers have made for their room so far…

If you look really closely, you can see that I have stamped the roses clear stamp all over the frame in gold ink randomly.

Lovely & LUSHious

July 13, 2010

Hi Everyone!!

Trudi and Vicki here with some more creations using the lovely Lush Collection.

Oh this collection is just so ‘LUSHious’ and I couldn’t resist scrapping a picture of my gorgeous girl.

‘heartBreaker’ by Trudi Harrison.  Products: LUSH Collection;  Patterned Papers P533 ‘Lotus’, P535 Bonzai (Reverse), P537 ‘Maple’, P536 ‘Bamboo’ (Reverse);  PP825 6” Paper Pad;  CB110 Printed Chipboard;  CS746 Clear Stamps;  RB867 Rub ons. Other Kaisercraft products:  SB549 ‘Seals’ Rub ons; MA504 Mini Alphas ‘White and Chocolate’; AS222 Alpha Stickers ‘Cream’; SB714 Champagne Pearls; Foam Tape, Glue Dots.  Other products: Scroll Lace Border Punch, Leaf punch, Brown, Black and Terracotta Ink, clear embossing powder

I have layered some of the 6″ x 6″ papers from Paper Pad behind the photo and similarly to Karen, I also cut out the floral strip from the “Maple” paper.  And be still my furiously beating heart (LOL),  also discovered some wonderful flocked floral paper in the 6″ Paper Pad.  Knowing my fetish for all things cutting – of course, I had to cut  them out.  I have layered them and then finished off the arrangement with the flower accent from the chipboard element pack

I have used the Kaisercraft ‘ Cream’ Alpha stickers and have altered them to coordinate.  To create a similar effect, start by stamping over them with orange ink and  the ‘script’ stamp from the Lush Clear Stamps set.  While the ink is wet sprinkle with clear embossing powder, skake off excess and heat set.  Ink the edges of the letters with brown and black ink.

Still talking about the Lush stamps – I have also created a stamped photo edge accent by stamping the floral corner stamp form the Lush Stamp Set onto patterned paper and then cutting around the image.

The gorgeous tonings of the Lush collection also inspired my Inspiration ‘Miracle’ Canvas.  The ‘natural’ colouring of the recently released bird cage and bird suited the colours beautifully

Inspiration ‘Miracle’ Canvas by Trudi Harrison.  Products: LUSH Collection; Patterned Paper P535 ‘Bonzai’ (Both Sides);  PP825 6″ Paper Pad, FL302 Wood Flourishes  Birdcages, FL304 Wood Flourishes ‘Birds’; SB162 Medium Wood Canvas;RB180 Life’s Moments Rubons; SB781 ‘Mango’ Pearls; Glue Dots; Foam Tape; File Set; Brown Ink.  Other: Sizzix Die, Petal and Leaf Punch, Glitter Glue

Vicki says “the lush collection has some gorgeous unique tonings which I found perfect for a girly layout of my daughter Mikayla – but also found it so versatile that I used this collection for the funky wreath clock as well”

Materials List: Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Japonica, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Bamboo,Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Willow, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Maple, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – 6” Paper Pad, Kaisercraft – Mini Alphas (Black and White), Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Clear Stamps, Kaisercraft – Clear Stamps (Script), Kaisercraft – Pearls (Chino), Kaisercraft – Pearls (strips) – Pink Champagne & Latte, Kaisercraft – Paper Flowers (Taupe)

Here is a close up of the flowers – I have used plain flowers and stamped them with the gorgeous Clear Stamp – Script to add interest

And here is the altered Funky Wreath which I made into a clock

Materials List: Kaisercraft – Funky Wreath, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Bamboo, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Cherry Blossom, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – Bonzai, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection – 6” Paper Pad, Kaisercraft – Kaisercolour Paint – Mud Puddle, Kaisercraft – Lush Collection –  Printed Chipboard, Kaisercraft – Wood Flourishes (Birds), Kaisercraft – Wood Flourishes (Bird Cages), Kaisercraft – Rhinestones (Champagne), Kaisercraft – Clear Stamps (Grunge), Kaisercraft – Clear Stamps (Flourish)

I have used the Clear Stamp – Grunge on the grey backing – and the Clear Stamp – Flourish on the birds to add texture

and the wreath would not be complete with inking adding a gorgeous bird cage from the Kaisercraft collection
