Welcome to our September blog challenge!
We’re dreaming of a white Christmas at Kaisercraft HQ! Making snow angles, sipping hot chocolate and getting cozy by the fire is exactly how we’d like to spend Christmas this year. But considering Spring has just arrived in the Southern Hemisphere, it seems like wishful thinking!
Oh well, looks like we’ll just have to settle for a winter wonderland mood board for our September blog challenge!

‘My Traditional Christmas Morning’ by Terhi Koskinen
As long as I remember my Christmas mornings has started with the same tradition, horseback riding through snowy forest with my best friends. Breathing crispy fresh air, singing Christmas songs and feeling the soft snow all over is something that can really be called ‘winter wonderland’ – that’s why this special photograph was chosen to be the one for this layout and this challenge. That phrase, and all the images on our September Challenge moodboard inspired me, and to make the layout more colorful I wanted to use our brand new ‘Silent Night’ collection.

‘Warm Wishes’ Pocket letter by Kirsten Hyde
I don’t often create Pocket letter, but they are are great swap. I have created a pocket letter with tags, embellishments, a miniature putz / glitter house kit, miniature stencil kit, and a miniature mixed media art, created on a button.

“Fantastic Day” Layout by Alicia McNamara
I fell in love with this mood board and I was inspired to scrap an amazing photo my Brother-in-law took on his recent holiday with his wife to New Zealand. The photos they came back with were incredible! But this photo was one of my favourites:

‘Christmas Cheer’ Layout be Collette Mitrega
I have enjoyed playing with some of the new release dies this month, they can add so much to a layout!
With the ‘Holly Circle’ die, I sprayed my die cut and sprinkled on some glitter, fixing it with a fixative spray so the glitter stayed on the page and not me!
I have used the Poinsettia die soooooooooo much!!! I love to curl the petals back with a skewer and layer them with foam tape atop each other, three layers looks fab! I love to glitter these too – after all, it’s Christmassy! Did you know you can cut two poinsettias at a time and don’t forget to use Kaisercrafts Die Release paper, (T322). Place this between the die and the paper when cutting and the paper will release easily!
The third die I used is a real favourite, (Mini Christmas Foliage). I love that I can get nine little festive branches and leaves and three little dots in just one pass. The little dots were perfect for the centre of the Poinsettias!
