Sunday Stamping

Well our week is finally over and we’ve managed to survive without causing any major malfunction to the KC blogging system…..(PHEW!!!!!!)

Welcome to Sunday Stamping!

Christine and I have got a variety of stamping projects to share using the beautiful new Kaisercraft mini acrylic stamps.   Earlier in the week I  created my own patterned paper by stamping and embossing a design in my gypsy layout, so today I thought I’d show you something a little different and have created a stamped background for my layout!

I chose the very cute new Butterfly Mini Acrylic Stamp and the La Di Da Paper collection of papers and embellishments.

After stamping the image onto white cardstock, I used some embossing powder and heat gun to set the image.  A little tip:  when using embossing powder….be sure to stamp with a pigment ink so the powder has something to adhere to, and I also found that a  less textured cardstock creates a much sharper image.

I repeated this process and stamped and embossed a butterfly pattern in a diagonal direction across my cardstock.

I then stamped some smaller butterflies onto some pink patterned paper (reverse side of DANCE) and cut these out.  After shaping the butterflies I positioned them over the smaller stamped image to create a little movement to my background.

and here’s what the finished layout looks like!

“beautiful” by Nikki AntonelloLa Di Da Paper Collection, Paper Pad, Embellishment pack, Butterfly Mini Acrylic Stamps, Kaisercraft Ink, Foam Dots, Versa Mark Ink, Embossing Powder.

Christine has made a card using the Cupcake and the Wishes stamp sets along with the La Di Da paper pad.

Doesn’t the cupcake look cute with a button on top and the icing stamped on the pink paper, cut out, then mounted on foam dots? She has also made a little box for a new baby using the Devonshire papers and decorated the top with the baby mini clear stamp set. The box holds a tiny pair of socks – a sweet and simple gift!

“Congratulations” box by Christine Rumley: CS904 Baby Mini Clear Stamp, Devonshire papers, Pearl, IP708 Brown ink pad.

These gorgeous little mini clear stamps are so versatile and easy to use.  What will you make with yours?
