Sunday Scrap Space – LG Belarmino

Name: Lady Grace Belarmino

Nick name: LG

Occupation: Training Manager (work from home) for a US based company

What I can’t live without when I scrap: PATTERNED PAPERS! I adore them and can certainly create a page with it only. I can create some embellishments, alpha or buttons with it.

Where I find inspiration: EVERYWHERE! I have a degree in Fine Arts and we were thought how to get inspiration from everywhere. From colors to patterns, techniques to styles, from textures to dimensions. That is why I love surfing the internet to  get this inspirations. I look at furniture, clothes, ads, scrapbook pages and people.

On my desk: Trimmer, adhesives, alpha, distress inks, cutting mat, and some stamps

Playing on my ipod: Ambient Music

My favourite item in my scrap room: Fresh flowers on my huge vase

And now for LG’s scrap area:

I have been scrapbooking for less than 2 years so, I really do not have so much supplies yet (I am still in my hoarding stage). I share my scrap space with our bedroom. The photos that I am sharing are the newer version of my scrap space.

Since we were requested to share some photos of our scrap space here, Kaisercraft inspired and motivated me and my husband to upgrade my space. My old space are full of boxes, using my daughter’s 2ft study table and chair.

The cabinet and the table I am using was our closet area. I decided to transform this into my scrap space because the  table size is just perfect and the mirror gave an illusion making the room look big, also, I can look at myself all the time LOL. The drawers are huge enough to store my flower collection, my punches, chipboard and altered items.

I store my papers on 2 huge boxes. The first huge box has all my patterned papers organized by manufacturer with labels. I decided to put them on a ziplock plastic to avoid dust and folds. The 2nd huge box contains scrapbook kits from my subscriptions to kit clubs and my other design team. I give this kits a maximum of 3months before I put them with my other stash.

I used to put my finished layouts directly to the albums but currently, I just do not have the space to accommodate more. So for the meantime, I also use a huge box for all my scrapbook pages.

Hopefully by next year, after we transfer to our new house, I will be able to share with you a better looking scrap space.

And here’s the latest layout LG has created in her ingenious scrap space!

It proves that it’s not the space you work in, but the work space in your mind that makes a page beautiful!
