Spooky but Nice Projects with The 13th Hour Collection

Hi Kaisercraft fans! Svetlana, Genevieve, and Pearl here to share with you some spooky projects using the 13th Hour collection.

“Mysterious Treats” Nest Centerpiece by Pearl Lui

Materials Used: Kasiercraft 13th Hour Paper Pad, Printed Chipboards; Other: twine, skewers, nest, mini clothespins

Pearl says:

“There’s something super fun and spooky about the black & white patterns from the 13th Hour collection. To play off of the colours, I decided to create a candy corn nest centerpiece. I coloured skewers in black, hot-glued them to the nest, tied twine around the skewers several times, hung die-cuts in the back of the paper pad to the twine with clothespins, further embellished with printed chipboard crows and dominos, and added candy corn – so simple! You can add any candy you prefer for your own spook-tacular centerpiece.”

“Bird Cage Candle Holder” by Svetlana Austin

Materials used: 13th Hour Collection: Paper –  Afternoon/P733; Sticker Sheet/SS112; Acetate Shapes/EM965; Lace Pack – Cream/EM927; Mini Crochet Doilie Flower - Retro/EM952; Paper Blooms – Aubergine/F637; Wooden Flourishes – Magical Butterflies/FL341; Pearl Flourishes – Black/PL518; Pearl Brads -Latte/EM931.

Other: cage candle holder, crackle paint, “dimensional magic”, border punch.

Svetlana says:

“Strangely enough I don’t see 13th Hour Collection as being spooky or scary. I fell in love with black and white theme of it, and additional beige and purple make it very dainty and elegant. It came totally natural to me to make something pretty and even romantic with it . When I saw this cage in a shop I immediately thought  that it will go very nice with the branches and birds that you get in this collection.”

“Halloween’s decor” by Genevieve Allen

Materials used: 13th Hour Collection: Paper –  Twilight/P735, P.M./P731, Evening/P732; Paper Pad/PP852; Lace Pack/EM929;  Paper Blooms /F643; Printed chipboard/CB134; Sparklets/RS409/RS411; Rhinestone/RS456; Jewels/RS425; Dress Form/SB2122; Candleabra/SB2127.

Other: Feather, stickles, die, acrylic paint,  wood cat.

Genevieve says:

“Halloween is a holiday when your imagination has no limit… So, I did few decorations! I have so many ideas! These are all my projects for my Halloween’s decor! I have also integrated my layout and my card into my decor! I love this holiday because we can decorate all the house! ”

“The plain dress form is dressed with a few pages from the Paper Pad. Chipboard, lace, sparklets, rhinestone and feather completed this dress!”

“A little bit of sanding at some places helped to reveal orange paint for worn effect! Some glitter and a necklace completed this beautiful decoration. I can use it also for Christmas’s holidays!”

“I have recuperated an old wreath that I have covered with acrylic paint. I have cut flowers and foliage from beautiful metallic paper. A feather, a chipboard cuckoo clock and a little black cat with a jewel completed this wreath! I love to decorate with these papers!!!”
