Some Thrifty Wall Decorating!

Kirsty: I have many blank walls in my house that I am trying slowly to fill. My goal is to have one wall entirely filled with letter ‘P’s, to represent our surname Piper.

Its going pretty slowly. lol

This month’s release of Velvet Ensemble, enabled me to thriftily add two more ‘P’s to my display, and it was so very very easy!

Step 1. Take the medium KaiserCraft MDF letter of your choice (mine was SB 316)

Step2. Trace around your MDF letter onto some Cardstock. Cut it out.

Step 3. Hot glue gun a ton of buttons onto your Cardstock letter. hopefully you manage to salvage more of your fingerprints than I did…OUCH!

Step 4. Spray paint your frame  and the MDF letter glossy black, mount your buttoned letter onto some gorgeous Velvet Ensemble Patterned Paper (I used my fave from this collection – Costume(P674)

Then hang your TWO completed monograms onto your wall!

(Please excuse the darkish photos, my ‘P’ wall is in a very very dark room)

:)
