Saturday Sketch – October #5

Join in our sketch fun and you can win prizes!

Simply create a layout based on any of this month’s October s ketches (found here) and share your creations into our October sketch gallery to win!!

Let’s have a closer look at our layouts:

“Love” by Nerrida Mitchell: Homemade papers – Lovely Lace (PS119), Simple stitches (P568), Cosy Cottage (P572), Toasty Treats (P570), Comfy Corner (P574), Printed ribbon (EM937), Chipboard alpha #2 (CB108), Pearl brads – Pink Ice (EM932).

“Making a layout after a sketch is always a challenge for me, this time even bigger as I chose to go with the blues in the photo, a color I hardly ever use on my layouts. I made the bigger flowers out of layers of cardstock. I misted the background and used punched out butterflies as a mask, when the color of the mist dried I used the Script clearstamp on it with a slightly darker ink”.

“Mulle” layout by Monika Martinson: Clear stamp CS752, Alpha Chip Board CB109, Pearl brads EM933 Soft Blue, Organza ribbon RI617, Rhinestones Ice blue SB774, Paper flowers Baby blue F614, Admit one Die-cut PS107, Printed Chipboard CB11, Paper pad PP826, Tis the season Stocking P567, Up, up and away Sideshow P542, Lush Bamboo P536.Other: Cardstock, mist.

At the end of October (31st October AEST) we will be selecting a first place and second place winner from the October sketch gallery.
