The deadline:

Comment on this post (or other March sketch posts) with your linked layout before 31st March 2011.

The prize:

1st PLACE: One of Kaisercraft’s new collections (valued at approximately $50).

2nd PLACE: A Kaisercraft scrap pack (including new products) valued at approximately $30.

This week we decided to take a different approach to the Saturday Sketch – a card!!

This week’s sketch was created from one of Kaisercraft’s graphic designers, Jess Milinkovic’s cards!

And our Design Team have also had a go!

“Sketches are so easy to adapt.  Rather than creating a horizontal card, I have created a vertical card to work with my embellishments.  The sketch still clearly inspired the card, but it was so easy to adapt it to suit what I needed”.

Card by Kerryn Lawson: Seaside 6×6 paper pad (PP834), Seaside printed chipboard (CB118), Seaside diecut elements (DC330), Tiny alpha stickers Latte (MA511), Mini alpha stickers Latte (MA506) Other Products used : button, dimensional magic, cardstock.

Card by Lesley Cooper: Bubblegum Hills Paper Pad (PP839); Flowers (SB825); Paper Blooms (F631); Crochet Doilie (EM954); Rhinestone Flourishes (RS465); Rub ons Happy Birthday (RB838); Orange Paint; Other: Butterfly punch, circle border punch, ink.]

Good luck!

Ooh I like this idea!! I still love the LO sketches but since I haven’t had a chance to do #2 or #3 yet, I like that a card doesn’t take me as long :) :)
