Saturday Sketch: #1 June

Hi fellow Scrappers! Its the weekend again!! And to celebrate..here is our FIRST Saturday Sketch for June!

The rules:

Each Saturday every month a new sketch and inspirational layouts will be posted here on the blog.

From these 3-5 sketches (depending on how many Saturday’s there are), you have that many chances to create a layout of your own and upload it to any gallery of your choice, or in a blog post.

Once done, link your layout into the comments section of the approapriate sketch blog post and you’re entry is complete!

The deadline:

Comments with linked layout entries for each monthly sketch challenge will close on the last day of that month at 11.59 (Australian Eastern Standard Time UTC +10/Daylight Savings Time UTC +11)

The prize:

1st PLACE: One of Kaisercraft’s new collections (valued at approximately $50).

2nd PLACE: A Kaisercraft scrap pack (including new products) valued at approximately $30.

June #1 Sketch:

This design was created by Al Hannah and below is her scrapped up version of the sketch.

Materials Used: Velvet Ensemble Paper Collection, Mini Journal Tags, 6 1/2″ Paper Pad, Black Rubons, Pearl Brads, Foam Mounting Tape, Sticker Sheet, Black Alphas, Tiny Alpha Stickers.
OTHER: Decorative Edge Punch

“Sweet Tooth” By Lesly Cooper

Materials Used:
Pink Gelato Collection Patterned Paper Blueberry (P682), Strawberry (P683); Sticker Sheet (SS104); Clear Stamps (CS779); Paper Pad (PP845); Rub Ons (RB922); Alpha Stickers (AS216); Mini Alphas (MA502); Other – date stamp, staz on, distress ink, versamark, perfect pearls.

“The View” by Leanne Allinson

Materials Used:
Chanteuse collection – tremolo (p639); 6.5” paper pad (pp840); alpha stickers – brown (as225), mini alpha stickers – chocolate and white (ma503); wood flourishes – frames (fl305). Other – cardstock, machine stitching, black pen.

    Such a wonderful sketch! Loved the little photo spaces! As you can see by my blogpost, i incorporated both Sketch #1 and Sketch #2 in a LOVE-theme double-page layout (but each page also stands on its own). Hope you enjoy!
