Beyond the Page Home Decor Peek A Boo

Playing in shades of baby blue!

November 14, 2016

The gorgeous new ‘Peek-a-Boo’ collection is so sweet and versatile with both pink and blue options to create with. The soft colour palette and beautiful images offer so many different creative options for both on and off the page!

When I saw the blue papers I couldn’t wait to attempt the little train which I’d wanted to do for a while and the gift boxes and bags had my scoring board working overtime! All of these are perfect for either a Baby Shower, celebrating Baby’s arrival or a first birthday party

‘Peek-a-Boo Train’

Kaisercraft products used: P2188 ‘Bambino’ | PP1008 Peek-a-Boo Paper Pad | RS408 Crystal Sparklets |

Other: Punches

It’s been a while since I made rosettes – I’d forgotten how cute and fun they were!

‘Peek-a-Boo gift boxes’

These boxes are great to use for gifts or as a gorgeous table decoration. Adding a rosette and some of the Baby flourishes adds to the charm!

Kaisercraft products used: P2189 ‘Bundle’ | P2190 ‘Precious’ | P2192 ‘Kid’ | P2194 ‘Cherub’ | PP1008 Peek-a-Boo Paper Pad | CT868 Peek-a-Boo Boy Collectables | EM926 White Lace | FL588 Baby Flourish Pack |

Other: Gesso

Using the same papers and adding similar images to those used on the train, help coordinate all of the items together

Using lace instead of ribbon adds to that special traditional baby feeling!

‘Peek-a-Boo gift bags’

I made these gift bags in mini size as they were just for decoration but you can create these in whatever size you require!

Kaisercraft products used: P2189 ‘Bundle’ | P2190 ‘Precious’ | P2192 ‘Kid’ | P2194 ‘Cherub’ | SS325 Peek-a-Boo Sticker Sheet | PP1008 Peek-a-Boo Paper Pad | CT868 Peek-a-Boo Boy Collectables | LDB1059 Natural Twine

So much fun to create and to use at a Baby Shower! Peek-a-Boo is in stores now and while I’ve used just the blue part of the collection, don’t forget it’s available in pretty pink as well

Happy creating!

Thank you Marilyn! If you search making rosettes you will find numerous tutorials on how to make them. However I cheated and used a die (not by Kaisercraft sorry!!) that cuts and scores for you. Sonia x
