Today I wanted to share with you this pretty idea, using both the “Pink Gelato” collection and Kaisercraft’s wooden pennant banner.
I wanted something inspirational but not over-powering for my little scrapbooking space here at home. I chose a word that was easy to fit onto the banner in single letters as well as it being motivational for me.
“FLY” banner by Leanne Allinson: Pink Gelato collection – vanilla (p680), blueberry (p682); 6.5″ paper pad (pp845); pennants (sb2106); paper blooms – olive (f633), buttercream (f629), ice-berg; paper flowers – baby blue (f614); pearl brads – pink ice (em932); pearls – pearl (sb713), chino (sb789); rhinestones – blue grey (rs406), soft pink (sb701); rhinestone flourish – decorative | antique rose (rs464); organza ribbon – pink (ri614), natural (ri613); chipboard alpha #1; paint – white; ink – antique blue (ip716). Other – paper doily, glitter, ink, butterfly template, butterfly punch.
I’ve created little garden scenes within the circles and paper doilies. The fun butterflies of course, reinforces the idea behind my word. :)
Each Kaisercraft chipboard letter has been painted and covered in silver glitter and the organza ribbon adds to the over-all softness of the project. The handmade flowers are a charming addition next to the gorgeous paper blooms, which complete the mini garden theme.
