Good afternoon, Dear Kaisercrafties!
Michelle, Toni and Svetlana are here again to share our layouts using the new range On The Move…. perfect for those boys in your life!
‘Boyz Will Be Boyz’ Layout by Toni Crane
Products used: On the Move Propel (P773), Take Off (P774), Sticker Sheet (SS122), Collectables (CT704), Rub ons (RB953), Mini Alpha Stickers Cherry Red (MA508).
Other: Black card stock, ink, tag, chip board letters.
“Getting a good photo of boys is almost an impossible task, especially adding a teenager into the mix. I always take photos of my boys using the burst mode on the camera. This way I’m usually guaranteed to get at least one good photo, and a lot of out-takes too I can use for scrapbooking!”
“A Day at the Racing” Layout by Svetlana Austin
Materials used: On the Move Collection -Cylinders/P775, Diesel/P777; Paper Pad/PP859; Sticker Sheet/SS122; Clear Stamps/CS807; Collectables/CT704; Alpha Chipboard – #3/CB109.
Other: brads, sprocket gears, wax line, hand stitching, ink, craft paint, staples.
“On the Move collection has very nice combination of bright colours and retro pastels. It allows you to scrap fun-filled children’s layouts, as well as more serious ones for grown-ups. I opted again to scrap a photograph of one of my sons – since I have so many of them :-))”
“Speed Demon” Lay-out by Michelle Frisby
Materials list : PP859 paper pad, RB953 rub ons, CT704 die cuts, SS122 sticker sheet, MA501 mini alphas
Extras : cardstock, bakers twine, paint, glimmermist, toothpicks, ink, embroidery thread
“On The Move collection is definitely male orientated, but I thought to myself, I’ve got the perfect photos to scrap, and it’s of me! Now that doesn’t happen very often!!
A little misting, a little paint splattering, a little hand stitching, a little inking and a little layering and I was done!”
Here’s a little bit of my journal from the day these photos were taken…Okay, let’s be honest, first attempt was a little scary, the heart rate jumped [sky rocketed] going around some bends, but I have to say overall, it was awesome. Who would have thought I would actually do it and ride the luge. Talk about peer pressure. Just call me Frizz Schumacher!!! November, 2010.
What a blast I had riding the luge in Queenstown last year with some of my scrapping buddies and now with the ‘OnThe Move’ collection from Kaisercraft, wonderful memories – scrapped.”
Happy creating to all!
