Mysterious Cards with The 13th Hour Collection

Hi everyone! Pearl, Genevieve, and Svetlana here again to share some mysterious cards we made with the 13th Hour collection.

“Vampire & Owl” Mini Cards by Pearl Lui

Materials Used: Kasiercraft 13th Hour Evening (front and back), Journaling Tags, Pearls.

Other: die-cut, heart punch

Pearl says:

“I wanted to create something cute but still creepy and Halloween related. So I thought, wouldn’t it be cool to make mini vampire bat and owl cards? I came up with this when I started drawing out different things that represent Halloween/October to me. Vampires and owls immediately came to mind and with the similar widow’s peak shapes they have, I decided to create a pair of these cards playing on their similar shapes. I used a heart punch to create the widow’s peaks, and the wings.”

“My card looks very simple on the outside but it has a little secret.  It is same with some people: at the first glance a person doesn’t seem to be anything special but once you get a chance to see inside of him, he turns to become a true friend.”

“I always like to decorate my cards inside and on the back.”

“Little Witch” Card by Genevieve Allen

Materials used:
13th Hour Collection: Paper Pad/PP852; Wooden Flourishes/FL358
; Jewels/RS425;  Sticker Sheet/SS112.

Other: Copic, punch, die, cardstock glitter, mask, Distress ink, stickles, digital stamp.

Genevieve says:

“I created a tent card for a Halloween decoration. ”

“I used a ‘mask’ and distress ink to make the witch and the technique of ‘paper piercing’ covers the stamp of the witch too. An element from the sticker sheet is inserted into the card to give it some depth.  This card will be added to my Halloween’s decor!”
