Our Favourite :)

Layout – Nerrida Mitchell

Hi again. My second eldest daughter has the kindest heart of my 3 girls – she is the one who will offer to wash the dishes even though we have a dishwasher and then she’ll wipe them up without being asked. She loves being in the kitchen and helping & will oftem ask if there’s something she can do – she’s my little kitchen angel. Well… most of the time. The rest of the time she’s messing it up – LOL.

Anyway, the Nan’s Favourite collection helped me celebrate her kindness and giving heart, especially when it comes to the kitchen.

The flower is handmade just by cutting out some rough flower shapes in 3 different sizes, scrunching them and then nesting them together fixed with a lace bow and string.

Little Miss Helper by Nerrida Mitchell: Nan’s Favourite papers – Apple pie (P611), Cookie dough (P614), Printed chipboard (CB121), Die cut elements (DC333), Journal tags (JT613), Lace pack – cream (EM927 ) Wood flourishes – Birds (FL304) & Lilac leaves (FL336) & Wings (FL346), Paper blooms – Buttercream (F629) & Sage (F632), Crochet doilies – Vintage (EM951).

Other: Collections paper butterfly, American crafts chipboard & foam giggles thickers.

My children and I were lucky enough to to be inivted out to a friends house to meet their newest additions to their farm. The kids all fell in love with these black and white two day old twin lambs :)

The papers and embellishments in the Nan’s Favourites collections seemed perfect for some country snaps!

Kirsty Piper: Chari Had a Little Lamb: Nan’s Favourites collection- Cookie Dough(P614) Marmalade(P613) Shortbread(P610), Journal Tags(JT613) Die Cut Elements(DC333). KaiserCraft other- Crochet Doilie Lace White(EM947) Wooden Flourishes Cherry(FL340) Alphas Stickers Red(AS224)

The sight of my LAST white doily also prompted me to be a little bit frugal creating this LO ;)

I simply cut it in half, so it appears in the LO in two separate areas, providing balance and continuity.

And just a little dash of  faux*homemade* creativity ;)

Shhhh don’t tell anyone its NOT homemade!
