More New Wood Flourish Projects
Do you need to see a couple more inspiring projects using Kaisercraft’s brand new wood embellishments? We’ve come up with a few more projects for you. I was inspired by the “Vines Wood Flourishes” that perfectly match the pattern on the blue Peachy Keen papers. I used them to create this page about our family tradition of playing in the leaves each autumn.
“Leaves” by Christine Rumley – Vines Wood Flourishes, Peachy Keen paper collection, Chocolate & White Mini Alpha Stickers, Cream Alpha Stickers and Chipboard Alphabet, Pearl pearls SB713, Brown Ink IP702
Renee has created this gorgeous project. She says “I made a Kaisercraft door hanger with the wood flourishes, but I used a different technique with each flourish. I left the bird in its raw state, while the leaves had a small amount of glitter glue dabbed around it’s edges. The large frame was backed with a piece of paper and then a flower added to it. The vine was first covered with white tissue paper, crinkling the paper slightly over it while gluing. When this was dried the excess paper was very gently sanded off. It was then painted with green paint, and the raised surfaces highlighted by rubbing gold paint over it with my finger tip”.
“Ella Door Hanger” by Renee Ludlow – Door Hanger W041, Hey Birdie papers, colour rub-ons, wood flourishes (vines, birds, frames, pearl strip), Alpha chipboard #2, Alpha stickers (brown)
Fran has used her wood flourishes on a card. Here’s what she had to say:
“When I saw these wood flourishes I was blown away – I think they are GORGEOUS! And I just happened to be going to a wedding right after receiving them, so what better use than a gorgeous romantic wedding card using them and the Le Chateau paper collection.
I used Kaisercraft Brown ink – my new ‘go-to’ ink – to ink the birds and the key, and also some organza ribbon from the “Red” organza ribbon packs that Kaisercraft have available now.
Wedding card by Fran Tynan using ”Keys”, ”Birds” & “Frames” wood flourishes, Le Chateau paper, Kaisercraft ‘brown’ ink, Kaisercraft red organza ribbon
