“Wings” By Toni Crane

Materials Used:
Kaisercraft 6.5″ frame (SB2114), Kaisercraft Dress Form (SB122), Miss Nelly Paper Pad (PP849), Miss Nelly Her Habits (P713), Wooden Flourish Wings (FL346), Pearl Strip Champagne (PL503), Rub ons Timeless Treasures (RB945), Paper Blooms Coconut (F640), Paper Blooms Cranberry (F638), Mini Paper Blooms Aubergine (F654), White Lace (E926).
Other products: white flowers, leaves, tulle, paint, ink, ribbon, kindy glitz, transparency, grunge board wings.

Toni says:
“I wanted a frame that would be able to sit on a shelf or my desk, so I combined both the 6.5″ frame and one of the free-standing dress forms.
Wanting a shabby chic look, I painted the frame and form with a pale pink, then a top coat of white. Sanding all of the edges gives a distressed shabby feel to the project.
To get the full pleated skirt for the dress form, join 2 pieces of paper from the paper pad, and concertina it, flaring the bottom. The Miss Nelly paper pad has a lot of small detailed papers that work perfectly for projects like this.
I added tulle to the bottom of the skirt to add a strip of colour and hid the top of the pleats with a spray of flowers, ribbon, and tulle, finished with a butterfly rub on on a scrap piece of transparency, folded in the middle and kindy glitz. Then added some flourish rub ons and pearls for detail.
The quote in the frame has been printed onto transparency, and although this one is designed to be permanent, it would be a simple solution to not seal the top of the frame and be able to change the quote as your moods and circumstances change, or even add a photo.
Inking the glossy pink pattern paper on the front of the frame with white brings out the pattern and softens the bright pink.
Flowers were added to the base of the dress form, and the top right corner of the frame completes the visual triangle and finishing with a bit of kindy glitz to the edges of the flowers leaves adds sparkle.”

“3 Draw Peg Shelf” By Vicki Morris

Materials Used:
3 Draw Peg Shelf, Kaisercraft – Miss Nelly – Her Eyes, Kaisercraft – Miss Nelly – Paper Pad, Kaisercraft – Lace Pack – White, Kaisercraft – Pearl Brads – Pink Ice, Kaisercraft – Pearl Strips, Kaisercraft – Paper Blooms – Coconut and Ruby, Kaisercraft – Mini Paper Blooms – Fairy Floss, Kaisercraft – Acrylic Paint – White, Misc Netting, Bows and Flowers.

Vicki says:
“I am a real softy when it comes to cuteness – so when I saw the red and white spotted paper in the Miss Nelly range I grabbed them quick!
Of course I needed an outlet for this cuteness which I managed to find in the latest release from Kaisercraft – the 3 Draw Peg Shelf!
The intention is for this to be used for my youngest daughter’s room – as she just loves red! We haven’t really decided what she is going to store in it – but a couple of thoughts of using the hooks for her necklaces and hairbands is the top of the list, with the draws being used for her clips and little jewels. While other ideas of using the hooks for her hats and scarves are coming into the conversation as well – I can see myself creating more of these versatile little storage shelves!”

“Keepsake/Gift/Jewellery Box” By Cassandra Bright
Materials Used:
Miss Nelly paper-Her Smile (P708), Rub Ons (RB934), Paper Blooms-Sea Breeze (F631), Mini Paper Blooms-Ruby (F653) Fuchsia (F656) Dusty Pink (F658), Kaisercraft Acrylic Paint-White (KC001)
Cassie says:
“I bet your all loving playing with the new gorgeous ranges from Kaisercraft! I felt like doing something a little bit different with my Miss Nelly papers and made a Keepsake/Gift/Jewellery Box. Let your imagination decide what you would use this for! And how cute would it look in a little girl’s room!
The box is a wooden ply box purchased from a variety store for a bargain price. I first used a mini screwdriver to take the hinges and closure off the box, as they can get quite yucky looking if you leave them on while painting, plus if you remove them you have a more professional look. I have then painted the entire box with Kaisercraft Acrylic White Paint (KC001) inside and out.
If you look at the picture above you will notice I have used one of the fantastic colour Rub Ons I have added to the glass top of the box. I’d never applied a rub on onto glass before so I was thrilled when it came up a treat. I have also added Miss Nelly colour Rub Ons to provide a border for the glass window looking into the box.
To decorate the outsides of the box and the base inside the box I have used Miss Nelly-Her Smile paper (P708). I have applied this to the box using Modge Podge. Once all sides were covered I have then Modge Podged the entire inside and outside of the box, even over the border rub ons to help preserve them.
And to finish added some Paper Blooms. I hope I have provided some inspiration for you all today.
Thanks for stopping by xo”

“ It’s no secret that I love making little boxes and filling them with treats. So it’s no surprise that I made these shabby boxes to pop in a wee gift for a scrappy buddy. They aren’t very big, think to yourself 2 inch square. Perfect for a wee pick me up!! To give a little bit of extra detail I curled and inked the edges.

”Dream Big” By Janna Werner

Materials Used:
Miss Nelly Collection: Her Dreams (P712), 6 ½” Paper Pad (PP849); Wooden Flourishes “Bicycle” (FL354), Alpha Chipboard #2 (CB108) Sparklets (RS420), Acetate “Four Corners” (PS176), 6,5” Frame (SB2114)

Janna Says:
“ The 6.5” frames are perfect for photos but also to create some home decoration. First I painted the wood frame in pink and added a thin layer of Gesso after the first layer was completely dry. I left some spots blank so the pink will shine through as this gives a lovely shabby look to the project. I used some of my scraps to decorate the frame and heat embossed the chipboard. The sheet of music is an overlay, it´s called Four Corners and it is fantastic to add the certain something to the frame.”
