“Konstrukt” a simplistic page

June 16, 2010

I love the colours in the new Kaisercraft Konstrukt range…purple, green, teal and black.

This photo of my son was lying on my table and what a perfect match!

Snapshot – Elizna Parsons: Konstrukt Collection papers, Konstrukt 6×6 paper pad

Instructions to make this page:

I used P523 Beams as the background

P524 Concrete, cut to 20cm x 26.5cm, goes onto the purple background – add fake stitching around the edges. Adhere. {Find more info on fake stitching here: http://www.kaisercraft.net/blog/tuesdays-tips-stitching-on-your-layouts/}

Cut the following 4 blocks of paper:

from P523 Beams – 6.5cm x 15.2cm; from P525 Work Bench – 10.2cm x 15.2cm; from P520 Toolbox – 6.5cm x 7.5cm; from purple dotted paper {6×6 paper pad} – 7.5cm x 10.2cm AND arrange them as seen on the layout. Adhere.

Cut a strip of paper from P524 Concrete {dotted side} measuring: 18.5cm x 1.5cm – add fake stitching to one long edge of this paper strip. I also chalked the edges of this paper strip. Adhere.

Adhere you photo onto the teal block.

Embellish your page with the green scalloped paper and the journaling block from the 6×6 Konstrukt paper pad. Add a title using lettering of your choice. I also added a scalloped teal border using a border punch.

A layout such as this one can be used over and over again…whenever you do it in different colours it looks brand new!!
