Creative Cards: Celebrating a New Year!

With New Year’s Eve just around the corner why not make a ‘Happy New Year’ card for one of your friends or family?

Today Kirsty and Trudi share a couple of cards they’ve made!

Kirsty’s PULL OUT card:

“I wanted to make a card that when opened it sort of *popped* like a celebratory bottle of champage! To do this, I created a card that seems fairly simple on the front, but then once you pull the little tab upon opening the card *POW* celebration!”

“The front of the card becomes the background image for the pull out features once you open the card”.

Celebrate in Style card by Trudi Harrison

With the New Year fast approaching I have decided to do a little bit of creative card ‘celebrating’.  There are many occasions throughout the year where a celebration card would be appropriate.

I have created a ‘generic’ feminine Celebrate card which would be suitable for most happy occasions. Keeping it ‘generic’ allows me to add my own personal birthday, anniversary or congratulations greeting.

With celebratory titles including ‘let’s celebrate’ and ‘thanks for helping me celebrate’, the recently released Kaisercraft ‘Party’ Rub ons (RB890) were a perfect solution.

The ‘fashionable’ shoe on the front of my card was created to coordinate with the ‘in style’ sentiment which is included inside the card.
