Creative Card: Tic Tacs
Hi there
It is Vicki here to share with you a creative card I have made using one of my favourite things – TIC TACS!
I was inspired by the Tic Tac container which was on my desk – unfortunately it was empty but it still provided the platform for this design. I thought of using this to create a little book with the front inside page being used for the card – and the middle of the book being used to hold the container.
Firstly I cut 2 pieces of cardstock and 4 pieces of Kaisercraft – Velvet Ensemble – Entertain paper to measure 11cm by 7 cm. I then adhered the “Entertain”paper to the cardstock to create 2 solid pages for my book. Score lines at 4 cm across, and then at a further 1 cm across, to form the spine. Ink all the edges.
Cut a further piece of “Entertain” paper 12cm x 7 cm and fold in half and adhere together. Ink the edges.
Lay the pages on top of each other as follows: one solid page, then the extra page, then the last solid page. Insert eyelets into the spine to secure.
Decorate the Tic Tac container with the journal tag and stickers from the Kaisercraft – Velvet Ensemble – Sticker sheet and adhere Tic Tac container to the centre page of the book.
Add a journal tag inside the first page of the book so you can write your message. Finish off by adding some black string and your favourite quote and embellishments to the cover.
As a last touch – don’t forget to cut the barcode from the sticker sheet and adhere to the back of the book!
