Creative Card: Recycling
Happy Thursday Everyone! Today is our Creative Card Day and we have Vicki Morris from our Contributing Design Team guiding us through!
Vicki Says:
“Hi there…It is Vicki here to share something a little different for creative cards this week using the gorgeous “Bonjour” range and a little recycling!
Not only do Kaisercraft do the most amazing products but their packaging can come in handy too – check out this little card I have made using the following recycled items”:

“Where to start! – here are some little tips:
I have covered little bread tags in the offcuts of the sticker sheet – you know the bits that are left over once to you removed those fabulous images! I have then attached some string and adhered letters from the sticker sheet and inked the edges.”

“Not forgetting to cut out the barcode from the sticker sheets to place on the back of the card for authenticity!”

“Putting it all together I have covered two backing cards from the Rhinestone Flourishes packaging on both sides to make the base of the card. Secure them on the side using eyelets and weaving through some string making sure it still opens freely.
Cover the smaller “Jewels” backing card to make a tag holder and added Rub ons for effect.
I have used the off cut strip of the Bonjour – Moriesse paper which was covered in little butterflies to make a bow for the front of the card.”

“Layer the items together from the corrugated cardboard, small tag, altered “jewels” backing card, bread tags and bow.”

Materials list:
Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Mairie, Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Moriesse, Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Provence, Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Foil Specialty paper, Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Paper Pad, Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Sticker Sheets- Icon and Alpha, Kaisercraft – Bonjour – Rub ons, Kaisercraft backing card from Rhinestone Flourishes and Jewel, Clear packaging from Rhinestone Flourishes, Corrugated Cardboard, Eyelets, Bread Tags, String.

“To add that little bit extra – take the clear plastic packaging of the Rhinestone Flourishes packet and adhere the “Bonjour” Rub ons to the front.”

“Use this altered packaging as a clear envelope for your card so your creation will be noticed before it is even opened!”
