Creative Card: Gift Card Holder
Hi everyone, welcome to our Thursday post which is our Creative Card. Today we are being lead by Toni Crane from our Contributing Design Team who will show us how to make a gift card holder…enjoy!
Toni Says:
“Gift cards make an easy, welcomed present for Christmas and its always nice to present them in a handmade card, especially one designed to hold the gift card.
For this you will need a 6” x 12” sheet of card stock and double-sided tape. Also your regular tools and some of the gorgeous new Christmas papers from Kaisercraft like Merry Medley.”

“Mark, then score lines at 4”, 6” and 8”, with the 6” score so it folds opposite to the other two score lines.”

“Fold the centre fold first, then fold the covers back on the centre, forming a W shape.”

“Run double-sided tape along one of the folds and the top and bottom edge to form a pocket out of the centre.”

“Mark 2 points 1 1/4” from the top and bottom edges of the centre pocket, and trim the edge of the pocket between these 2 points. The gift card will slide into this pocket and be held snuggly.”

“Now decorate your gift card holder. I’m sure your recipient will love the time you’ve put into this little gift.”
