Creative Card: Envelope Card
Hello Kaisercrafties, hope you all are enjoying this weeks posts and are getting lot’s of ideas and inspiration from the Contributing Design Team.
Today we have Svetlana Austin showing us her ‘Creative Card’.
“Christmas Envelope Card” by Svetlana Austin
Materials used:
December 25th Collection: Love/P720, Believe/P721, Paper Pad/PP850, Mini Journal Tags/JT625, Sticker Sheet/SS109, Rub ons/RB935, Clear Stamp – Silly Season Collection/CS791, Pearl Strip – Latte/PL505
Other: letter envelope, glimmer mist, ink, black pen, eye-let, wax line.
Svetlana says:
“To make a Christmas card with a difference I decided to make a card which looks like an envelope. I recycled an envelope from a letter that I received. I left one of the sides of the envelope open. I made a half circled cut on the open side. I used the paper from the paper pad to decorate the front and the back of the envelope, and from the same paper, the inner part of my card – this is where I will write my message.
The sticker sheet, rub ons and journaling tags of the December 25th collection have a very cool postal stamp theme, and they are just perfect for such a project. I hope that my idea inspired you to create some exciting cards which will bring a lot of joy to your loved ones. Enjoy your crafting!”

These would be perfect for having a private sentiment inside that you don’t want the world to see, but still being able to display the beautiful envelope. Wonderful idea. Thanks for sharing.
