” Perfect” Layout by Rikki Graziani

January 31, 2018

Good morning how are you all? Rikki here today its the first day back at school is happening this morning so beings the fun and chaos making sure the three kids are ready – lets face it there still on holiday mode and not showing signs that they will get out of it. So while I am running around saying your going to be late…

I am here today to share with you a layout using the stunning Kaisercraft Havana Nights.

Kaisercraft Products: Havana Nights Collection: P2452 Mosaic Tile| P2457 Ceramic | PS512 Bamboo – Die cut | SS354 Sticker Sheet | CT897 Collectables

P2452 Mosaic Tile is a wonderful sheet, you have so many options and of course I couldnt go past fussy cutting them out and then to give them a more interactive feel, I just doubled them up cutting them in the center and rolled out the edges….. too easy.

PS512 Bamboo – Die cut dont forget use your specialty papers as photo mat to add interest and another layer.

SS354 Sticker Sheet is the perfect addition to your layout especially if you want that fussy cut look without doing the hard work.

Well till next time have a creative day.

Layouts Rikki Graziani Summer Splash

Scrapping on a Budget – Tutorial and Layout by Rikki Graziani

November 21, 2017

Good morning how are you all? Rikki here today with my share for the month – using the Summer Splash Collection.

I was very fortunate this month to get the my layout on the front cover on the Kaisercraft Workshop…..

Which got me thinking with a few changes with embellishments and with the same papers how you can get a different layout without blowing your scrapping budget, especially when your buy the Paper Pack  and it works out great when you are time poor or if your mojo has left the building.

Kaisercraft Products: Summer Splash Collection: P2418 Swell | P2420 Beach Towel | PP1031 Paper PAd | CT893 Collectables | Other: Embossing Paste | Silicon Moulds | Paper Clay | Glitter

Heres the process video on how I created this layout:

Changing the direction of your papers is the quickest way to start your new layout. Why change what works?

Paper clay is a great way to add some ocean themed embellishments, even some real shells can be added as a budget saving measure.

Sometimes all you need is some glitter ….. flicking the glue around in a random splatter pattern will help give your glitter the same random effect.

Add a couple of embellishments from the Collectables……

Dont forget if you dont have the latest and greatest, go find you diecuts, and cut a heap out in white they are great way to add an interesting layers to your layout.

Hope you enjoyed this process till next time.

Rikki Graziani Rose Avenue Tutorials

“Happy Birthday” Layout and Process Video by Rikki Graziani

October 23, 2017

Good morning Rikki here today with a layout and process video featuring Kaisercraft Rose Avenue…..

This collection has so many beautiful elements its hard to pick just one!!!

So I decided to do a little challenge for myself… working around the fussy cutting that I had already done for the month… when we get our DT kit, I go through it all and sit down over a weekend and cut all the elements that can be fussy cut and then put them in a snap lock bag, that way they are ready when I am ready to create.

It make it a little bit interesting for me for this process video I set myself a goal of constructing a layout in 30 mins or under once my background had dried. I have to say I was very close but having prepared the fussy cutting before hand made it fly along…

Kaisercraft Products: Rose Avenue Collection: P2406 Patio|P2409 Wood Panels | SS349 Sticker Sheet | PP1030 Paper Pad | CT892 Collectables |IT446 Ornate Damask 6×6 Designer Templates | Other : Mist | Prills | Glue

By flicking glue you can get a more random effect with  your prills or microbeads….

Dont forget to add your elements between your mat layers this will finish off your layering…..

I hope you enjoyed this layout and process video.

Till next time, have a creative day.
