Blessed Kaiser Mist Kaiser Mists Layouts Mixed Media Rikki Graziani step by step Tutorial

”Thankful” Layout and Tutorial by Rikki G

January 15, 2019

Good morning how are you? Rikki here to share with you a little tutorial and layout using the amazing Kaisercraft Blessed Collection – IN STORE NOW !!! And I will be featuring the amazing Gold Foil Specialty sheet.

Now dont forget you can now download all the step by step instructions HERE.

KAISERCRAFT : BLESSED Collection: PS552 Bouquet – Gold Foil, P2675 Have Faith, CT952 Collectables

KC PRODUCTS: KM121 White, KM122 Yellow, KM124 Red, KM125 Candy, KM126 Lime, KM127 Turquoise, KM132 Shimmer Gold, T303 Foam Tape, T321 Glue.

Step 1:

Mist some water on the flower you are wanting to paint….. Then with a brush drop and build up the KAISER MIST – CANDY and allow to dry, before starting the next step.

Step 2:

Repeat above step this time with KAISER MIST – TURQUOISE – remember to allow to dry before going onto the next step.

Step 3:

Repeating above steps with the KAISER MIST – YELLOW. Now once that is dry build up your colours if you want them more intense.

With the leaves – KAISER MIST – LIME …. wet over the leaves and allow to ”bleed” out and go beyond the gold foil.

Repeat this step with all the colours and let them blend beyond the gold foil……. and dont forget to splatter more intense colours.

Add KAISER MIST-  SHIMMER  GOLD to highlight areas this is a shimmer so it has no pigment in it so plunge your brush to the bottom of the bottle and go heavy with it – this will take a little bit to build up..

Dont worry if you cant understand theres is a video on our KAISERCRAFT  Youtube channel so you can follow along.

*** Tip: To stop your colours being ”mud” allow to dry in between, and dont be afraid to build the colour up to make sections intense.

Till next time have a creative day.

Bible Journalling

What is bible journalling – it’s a creative way to visually highlight your favourite scriptures – and makes it easy to memorize the text.
Bible journalling for me is a personal journey where you can visually and creatively spend time with God in His word doing what we love and that He instilled in us.
For me it’s not something that I want to pressure me into being creative but rather a natural flow of worship and creativity – and where they meet in Him, for Him but also for me.
For more on this head HERE

Use a small paint brush and your Kaisermists to add colour to your black and white flowers on the Blissful patterned paper (reverse).

Layer different colors together to create interest. Mist a little bit of the colour onto a palette and water it down a bit if need be. Paint the flowers in matching colors to that of the Blessed paper range.

Use your precision scissors to cut out the colored flowers.

Cut words pertaining to your Bible verse out of the sheets from the Paper Pad.

Cut a matching quote block from the sheet in the Paper pad. Ink the edges if you want to.

Adhere the elements to your Bible page using craft glue. Adhere the block first, then add the colored flowers overlapping onto the block.

Cut out some additional flowers from the patterned paper sheets in the Paper Pad.

Add colour to your selected Bible verse highlighting the text with some Kaisermists. I dipped the paint brush into my bottle and lightly painted over the verses using 3 different colors. Leave the ink to dry and then add ink splatters in all the colors and leave to dry.

  • Add additional elements to finish off your page as desired. This range is so beautiful and the perfect backdrop to this special time of year being blessed and grateful for so many blessings.

Card Making DIY Die Cuts Machine Everlasting Kaiser Mists

Monochromatic Cards with Kasia

December 4, 2018

Hi Guys, Kasia here with a set of monochromatic cards using the gorgeous
Everlasting Collection and a couple super cool new release dies.

LAYERING ROSE DIE
The following two cards feature the Layering Rose Die, which I am so completely in love with.

You can purchase the DD823 Layering Rose Die and other products used to create these cards HERE
or visit your local Kaisercraft stockist.

I may have got a little bit of RSI die cutting this die as I couldn’t stop exploring
colour combinations and each and every combination blew me away!

LACE TOPPER DIE
The second Die I got to play with this month was the Lace Topper.

You can purchase the DD622 Lace Topper Die and other products used to create these cards HERE
or visit your local Kaisercraft stockist.

It is another layering die but unlike the Layering Rose, it is very bold and creates a real statement on your card.

I created a very simple card with clean lines and a softer version with lots of layers.

FLOCKED DAMASK SPECIALTY PAPER
The Damask flocked specialty paper is just stunning.

You can purchase the PS548 Flocked Damask specialty paper and other products used to create these cards HERE
or visit your local Kaisercraft stockist.

I found that with the luscious flocked texture of the pattern my cards didn’t need much at all to make them beautiful and timeless.

I couldn’t resist using the Layered Rose die again and this demonstrates just how versatile this die can be.

You can also download the full instructions and product lists of the above cards by clicking on each individual card.

I hope I have inspired you to get creating and making some cards to add to your stash.

xx Kasia

Jowilna Nolte Kaiser Mists Kaisercraft Let's Go

Framed Travel art featuring templates

November 26, 2018

Hi everyone, Jowilna here today sharing a travel inspired framed art piece, and the Let’s Go Collection was perfect for it.
“I want to make memories all over the world” is a statement I love, and my journey to anywhere starts in Africa so that was my inspiration for this piece.

I combined a cut file done on my Silhouette with my templates, Kaiser mists, Collectables and wooden flourishes to complete the look.

PAPERS:
LET’S GO Collection: P2641 Carry On, P2643 Bag Tags
KC PRODUCTS: KM129 Kaiser Mists Denim,  IT043 Mini Template World Map, SS375 Let’s Go Sticker Sheet, CT949 Collectables, FL537 Fly Away Wooden Flourishes, IP751 Ink Pad Chocolate, T315 Double Sided Tape, LDB1056 Foam Tape,  DD619 Nesting Postage Stamp Decorative Die, CS341 Let’s Go Clear Stamp, DD001 DIYcuts Cutting machine, T321 Craft Glue, T317 Craft Scissors

Other: Texture Paste, frame, stapler

Step 1 – Cut the Africa or World Map out of the Carry On (reverse patterned paper).

Step 2 – Remove from your cutting matt and adhere it onto a sheet of white cardstock. Add some ink splats using your Kaiser mists.

Step 3 – Cut out some tags from the Bag Tag sheet and ink the edges.

Step 4 – Position your template onto the map and apply texture paste. Repeat a second time and leave the paste to dry.

Step 5 – Once the texture paste is dry mist the textured areas using Denim Kaiser mist and heat set using your heat gun.

Step 6 –  Use the cover sheet or packaging to die-cut some postage tags using the nesting die.

Step 7 – Stamp images onto the white side of the cut postage stamps using Kaiser ink in Chocolate. Ink the edges to finish them off.

Step 8 – Adhere the tags and postage stamped pieces to the top edge of your map. Use craft glue and foam tape for dimension.

Step 9 – Add collectable, stickers and wooden flourishes to finish off your art work.

Add your finished piece into a frame and hang on your wall as inspiration for your next adventure trip into the world.

You can download the Silhouette cut file and full instructions for this project. Or take a look at the short process video as inspiration.
Until next time – take a trip and go have an adventure.

Kaiser Mists Mixed Media Scrap Studio Stamps Templates

Art Journal Page Tutorials by Kasia and Tatiana

November 19, 2018

Hello guys.. Kasia and Tatiana here today with an Art Journal Page.

Scrap studio screams mixed media and art journal to me and I loved using the different elements together with the new Kaiser Mists and Kaiser Ink pads to create this page. .

The colours of the mists are so vibrant and blend beautifully together, leaving a lovely shimmer when dry.

KAISERCRAFT PRODUCTS

KS328 Kaiser Style A4 Visual Art Diary, P2631 Expressions, PP1055 Scrap Studio 6.5” Paper Pad, SS374 Sticker Sheet, CS340 Clear Stamp, IT044 Lace Doily Template, IT478 Artist Template, KM127 Turquoise Mist, KM129 Denim Mist, KM122 Yellow Mist, KM131 Black Mist, IP757 Permanent Black Ink.

OTHER PRODUCTS

White Gesso, Texture Paste, Gel Medium.

INSTRUCTIONS BELOW or
you can download printable version HERE

Tear small pieces of the Scrap Studio Paper pad papers and randomly adhere with gel medium to the page.

Roughly paint on white gesso to blend in the background.

When dry add the two doily stickers from the sticker sheet to the top and bottom of your page.

Adhere small bundled strips of muslin with gesso and allow to dry well.

Adhere strips from the sticker sheet, EXPRESSIONS and the paper pad down the bottom left of your page, slightly overlapping one another.

Apply texture paste through the two templates around your cluster of strips and allow to dry really well before moving to the next step.

Spray the Denim and Turquoise mists to the bottom left of your page and add a couple of sprays of water to help the colour move further. Add some sprays of yellow to the upper right of the page and allow to move into the blues to create a nice transition of green. Allow to dry really well and add another coat of colour if you like.

Using the permanent ink stamp a couple of butterflies, dots, film strip and doily images to add some texture and depth to your page.

Finish off by adding a couple of title strips from the sticker sheet and 3 fussy cut butterflies.

Lastly add a few splatters using the black mist.

I had so much fun creating this page I kept on going and playing with the mists a little more.

Below are a couple extra inspiration pages for you.
