Tuesday Tutorial ~ Anthology Mixed Media Set of 10 Cards

June 12, 2018

Do you like to make cards?  Are you loving the Anthology Collection?  Last weekend I taught four classes at the Scrapbook and Paper Craft Expo in Brisbane and my Anthology ~ Set of 10 Cards was my most popular class.  So I thought I would make another set of Anthology Cards, but this time I chose to add a bit of Mixed Media into the cards as well.

I do enjoy making sets of ten cards.  This allows you to have a big stash of cards ready and on hand for those upcoming birthdays or when you need a quick thank you card etc.  The sentiments for each of these cards came from the back of the Paper Pad.  There are plenty of sentiments at the back of each Kaisercraft Paper Pad that are perfect for adding to a card.

I filmed a Video Tutorial for this Blog Post and I also have a written Step-By-Step Tutorial with photographs to assist you to re-create these cards.  I also have a lot of other tutorials on my You Tube Channel, if you are interested in Videos.  The corresponding written tutorials are on my blog.  All my projects, videos and tutorials feature Kaisercraft Products.

I used the new template: IT031 Stars and Moon Mini Template and I just love the stars in this template.  They are so delicately positioned and the white stands out so well on the dark blue paper.

I think my favourite paper from Stargazer is the ORBIT paper.  It is perfect for fussy-cutting and adds a nice floral touch to this collection.

Kaisercraft "One Sheet Wonder" Mother's Day Cards by Alicia McNamara

Have you ever made the “One Sheet Wonder” quick and easy cards with just one 12×12 piece of Scrapbooking paper?  I made my first set last week.  They were a lot of fun so I thought I would try again, this time using Kaisercraft’s Fleur Collection.  These cards would be perfect for Mother’s Day as they all have a grateful/love sentiment which suits a Mother’s Day card.  With Mother’s Day literally just around the corner…eeek! These cards might get your thoughts headed in that direction if you aren’t already prepared with Mother’s Day cards this year.  The left over cards can be added to your card stash for birthdays, thank you and friendship cards.
