Blae and Ivy: Soft and Sweet

Kirst and Leanne with you this afternoon to share some Blae and Ivy pages with you!

Kirsty:

I’d like to introduce you to my new nephew; Freddie was born April 1st(which my children now refer to as ‘Freddie Fools Day’).

He is SUCH a sweet-heart!

I was lucky enough to meet little Freddie when he was only 1 day old.

Kirsty Piper: Freddie: Blae and Ivy Collection: Meadow(P695), Mystic Cove(P697), Sky(P698), Journal tags(JT623), Sticker Sheet(SS106), Rub Ons(RB924), Clear Stamps(CS781) Kaisercraft other: Crochet Doilie-Lace/Cream(EM948), Paint-Antique White(KC002), Alpha Stickers-Cream(AS222), Ink-Sandstone(IP710), Lace Pack-Cream(EM927), Clear Stamps- Alpha Typewriter Font(CS785), Alpha Date(CS787), Paper Tags and Shapes-Manilla(EM924)

I wanted a very subtle, pale alpha for the title, and the Cream Alpha Stickers were the perfect colour….but needed a little something ;)

To jazz them up just a little, I selected an ink in a slightly darker colour, and stamped the gorgeous Blae and Ivy doilie stamp onto the Alphas.

I think it provided just the right amount of texture and interest that I was looking for :)

Leanne:

Can I just start by saying that I am totally in love with the Blae & Ivy papers.  They are so beautiful and are very very versatile.

Here is a layout of my adorable little munchkin taken a few years ago

Leanne Love: Picture Perfect: Blae and Ivy Collection: Dew Drop (P694) Meadow(P695), Mystic Cove(P697), Mineral (p693), Field (P966) Journal tags(JT623), Kaisercraft other: FL325 wooden flourish (twin lamp post, RB931 Rubons, IP703 Ink (Moss), MA502 Mini Alphas, RI618 Organza Ribbon

and here is a close up of the flowers and stitching

Cannot wait to share all of our creations with you this week.
