Materials used :
PP853 paper pad, sticker sheet, PL507 pearl flourish, F632 sage blooms, F627 coconut blooms, pink blooms, RS426 jewels – Bonjour, JT628 journal tag, EM930 pearl brad, F658 mini blooms dusty pink, F648 mini blooms sea breeze.

Extras : baubles, peg, seam binding, punch, flat canvas, muslin, calendar from Crafty Secrets, crackle paint

Michelle says:
“I wanted to be able to look at this gorgeous collection from Kaisercraft, day in and day out and not have it tucked away somewhere.  I knew that I wanted to make a calendar for the new year.  And so I decided to whip up a calendar using the Bonjour collection.

I’ve used a thin flat canvas and I’ve just started to play – I’ve used lots of Modge Podge, I’ve layered, I’ve inked, I’ve distressed and I’ve just kept adding.  My canvas is sitting on an easel which I’ve painted using distress crackle paint.

I printed off the calendar from Crafty Secrets and I’ve cut out each month and will change the month – the peg is adhered to my canvas, not the calendar month itself and it can quite easily slip out from behind the birds – the birds are from the sticker sheet, but I’ve backed them on paper and lifted them to give a little more dimension.

I’ve never been to Paris.  I dream of going to Paris, it’s definitely on my bucket list and I will get there … one day, just not sure when.  And as a reminder, I’ve added a cut out of the Eiffel Tower to the left of my calendar.

Until I do, I can only but dream!!!  One day!!!!

Happy creating”.
