Letters To Santa – Pop Up Card Tutorial – By Rikki Graziani

September 1, 2017

Good morning how are you all? Rikki here today to share with you a pop up card tutorial using the stunning new Kaisercraft Collection – Letters to Santa.

(Please note: measurements might vary between steps)

Step 1 : Cut 20cm x 20cm (8”x8”) Square.

Work in a clockwise direction…….

Step 2 : With a Punch Board ; Punch  the measurements of 9cm and 7cm  (3 1/2” and 2 3/4 ”) and score the line at these measurements.

Step 3: Flip the paper over ( so you would have a different pattern facing up wards – the green side of P2391 Carolers ) and repeat step 2.

Step 4 : Flip the paper over ( so you would have a different pattern facing up wards – the music side of P2391 Carolers ) and repeat step 2.

Step 5 : Flip the paper over ( so you would have a different pattern facing up wards – the green side of P2391 Carolers ) and repeat step 2.

Step 6 : Tape or glue your sides of your box…..

Step 7 : With your punch board fold over a short end and punch in the center of the end to make a tab….

Step 8: Cut on the edges to make tabs for the box…..

Step 9 : Now it gets a little bit fiddly but the end goal is to push all your edges inwards to create a box.

Step 10 : With  matching paper cut a rectangle to fit into the center of the tray – approx : 14 cm x 8 cm (5 3/8” x 3 7/8” ), tape / glue to the center of the box.

Step 11 : Cut 3 x Strips of pattern paper 2.5 cm x 8 cm (1” x 3 1/8”) and fold in half and attach to the front of your tray sticking one side to the bottom of the box…

Keep your layers towards the front so you can add a gift card or chocolates at the back of the tray…..

Step 12 : Attach and add CT890 Collectables to the three layers, if they are too heavy you can add a thin strip of acetate to the back of your layers….

The Cover (not really an exact science, always check measurements against the tray).

Step 13: Cut a strip of pattern paper 24.5 cm x 15 cm  (9 1/2” x 5 7/8” )

Working Left to Right…..

Step 14: Score and fold at 1.5cm mark ( 1 5/8”)

Step 15: Score and fold at 10cm mark ( 4” )

Step 16: Score and fold at 11.5 cm (4 1/2 ”) doesnt have to be too exact as you ultimately  want it to be on a the wider side to allow you to slide in and out (*** at this point I measure against the side of the tray rather than go on measurements….)

Step  17: Score where the side meets the bottom, and glue, score and wrap the extra around the box…..

Step 18: Decorate the outside of the box, the SS347 Sticker Sheet is great for this…..

Beautiful – Layout and Video Tutorial by Rikki Graziani

June 19, 2017

Good Morning how are you all? Rikki here today with my monthly share and a video tutorial as well, using the stunning new Kaisercraft Daydreamer.

Today I am sharing a little bit of mixed media focusing on using your stamps, if your anything like me I have a lot of stamps but always forget to use them in my layouts.

Kaisercraft Products: Daydreamer Collection: SS341 Sticker Sheet | PP1022 Paper Pad | CS303 Clear Stamps | CT884 Collectables | KM111 White | KM107 Peach |EF267 Moon & Stars Embossing Folder |IT016 Speckles Mini Template |CS161 Honeycomb Texture Stamp | CS292 Fading Dots Texture Stamp | CS878 Sketchy Texture Stamp | CS753 Bubble Texture Stamp |CS150 Triangles Texture Stamp | Other: Stanzon Ink |Heidi Swapp Ink | White Cardstock| Texture Paste

The Kasiercraft Daydreamer CS303 Clear Stamps have the best tiny words- you can separate them for individual use or keep them together like I have done to work them into your background.

Dont be afraid to mix and match your texture stamps !!! I dont mount them to an acrylic block as I want them not to be a perfect image this allows me to roll the stamp as I add it to the background, leaving an image that can be blended with other stamps.

Dont forget to add Foam tape to your layers and even your CT884 Collectables…..

Heres the video tutorial:

I hope I have inspired you to get your stamps out and get creative with them, remember if you have any questions ask away in the comments below or if you would like to see me do something I would love some suggestion and you never know you might see your suggestion next month!!!

Till next time have a creative day.
