Collections Daydreamer Do not use this category Journal Planner Journaling Planner

Creative Planning with Kylie.

June 21, 2017

Hello friends! It’s Kylie back with you all today to chat about one of my most favourite things! Planning! Kaisercraft have just released some new planners.Have you seen them?? You totally need to check them out here on the Kaiserstyle website.

It was a difficult choice as the planners are all so lovely but I decided on the large Bloom planner.I fell in love as soon as I saw it!

Now, whilst I was browsing, I also discovered the ‘Bloom’ sticker book-

 Umm hello!

You get so many stickers……I’m talking over 1000! Once my planner arrived I quickly realised how the new Daydreamer collection was also a perfect match! Now these planners are beautiful as they are, but I decided to add in a little bit of Daydreamer to my pages. They are a great styled planner for your day to day scheduling but also could be used for memory planning. So here today I thought I would share how I have personalised mine so far for June.Let’s take a tour-

The monthly dashboards that come with your planner are a beautiful print. Here above I have added some layered papers and collectables from the Daydreamer collection. You can see how they match beautifully! Each month begins with a journaling page for goals and priorities in the month ahead.

There is a monthly view page for each month.I love this type of set up as I can see all of my month at a glance.

I think week one of June really showcases how well the Daydreamer collection works in this planner.I have cut a few of the quote cards out and used them layered at the start of the month as well as on the dashboard I made.I LOVE the gold foil on this! I have also cut one of the small calendars from P2340 LUCKY. Great for having the monthly dates at a glance.

I add a strip of paper down each left page side for added colour to my pages. The number and alpha stickers add to the page as well.Kaisercraft have a great colour range in these and again you get so many.

These pages are ‘before the pen’ but you can see how I have included some of the Daydreamer stamps for fun.

Here you can see a slim line page mark I made. These are a great practical tool for finding the page you are needing quickly.

I also created a pocket dashboard from more of the papers. These are great for storing receipts, photos or other important documents you need to keep handy.

The final page each month in the planner is a ‘Month in Review’ page.I really like this as a memory keeping tool.Great to be able to add a photo as well.

So there we have it.I hope my post today gives you lots of inspiration towards creative planning.Until next time,

Kylie xoxo

Creative Happy Mail with Kylie.

May 3, 2017

Hello friends!

Kylie back with you all today sharing a fun project and I have used the new ‘Sage and Grace’ collection.Lots of pretty, shabby florals feature in this range.I am loving the delicate colour palatte in pastel hues. So, so pretty!

I decided it was perfect for creating some happy mail with and I have created some pocket mail. Here is a little look at my completed project. It features two slotted pockets perfect for adding some personal touches to.

Did I mention there is metallic Rose Gold that features in this range too?? Totally swoon worthy!

The front pocket also has the most detail as well.I’ve used lots of the collectables and also created a tag from the mini paper pad.

You can see the Rose Gold here on the front pocket in this close up above.

I’ve framed the top of the second pocket with some fringed paper and a dual layered heart.Little added touches of stitching help highlight the heart.

I’ve created a layered flower and backed it with some embossed vellum.

I will be placing some photos and a handwritten card into my pocket mail for sending. These are just some of the things you could post though.Postcards, a tea bag etc are also great.

Everything fits so nicely inside the pockets. All ready for posting, in the co-ordinating envelope I have made!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today. Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time,

Kylie xoxo

High Tea Planner set up with Kylie

April 5, 2017

Hello lovelies, Kylie with you all again today.

I’m talking planners today and I’m going to show you how I create some unique accessories for my planner!I’m going to be using the new ‘High Tea’ collection. I adore this collection with its delicate florals and pastels…..It screams KYLIE!

Several months ago Kaisercraft released a superb range of planners.Have you seen them?? Let me  refresh your memory….

Each planner already comes with beautiful inserts and dividers. But wouldn’t it be fun to create your own to add in as well? That’s what I have done….Here is a little look at the dividers and accessories I made.

My first divider is a shaker.I added in some sequins and enclosed my divider in a plastic sleeve with my fuse tool. This page has been set up kind of as my welcome page! Because Kaisercraft 12 x 12 papers are dual sided, the back looks as pretty as the front.

Here is a close up of the shaker dashboard.I think it’s my favourite.I have used a clear text sticker as the centred quote.

Next is my first tabbed divider.I have laminated all my tabbed dividers.

And my second….

And final. I made three tabbed dividers, but you can make as many as you like!

All those florals! I just had to make some paper clips from the collectables too. For storage of important receipts etc, I also made a pocket divider, again using a clear quote sticker…..

One last little extra was a punched bookmark. These are great for placing in your planner at a current weekly page setup, so you can find where you are up to easily. It has also been laminated for durability.

So there you have it friends.I hope you enjoyed seeing my project today!

Until next time,

Kylie xo

Card Making Do not use this category Kaiser Mists Mixed Media Cards Wildflower

Quick Watercolour Cards with Kylie plus Video.

March 14, 2017

Hello friends, Kylie with you all again today!

I’m sharing how to make some gift cards that you will find are so quick and you will find yourself creating them in no time! I’m using the new ‘Wildflower’ collection. This range has a beautiful, soft theme of florals and watercolour prints in a gorgeous pastel colour palette.

Here is a little look at my completed cards-

I was really happy with the completed result of these cards.I’d love to share with you how I made them and there is also a short video process you can watch as well. But first here is what you will need-

I am using the PS484 Sentiments Gloss paper. It has different quotes on 12 cards that you can seperate for your projects.I am also using the following-

Your favourite Kaiser Mist colours.(Be adventurous and add lots of different colours!)

Some double sided tape and foam dots or tape.

Water mist spray bottle.

Plastic packaging bag or sandwich bag.

Glue.

PP1016 Wildflower Paper Pad and CT878 Collectables.

Once you have your supplies gently fold and tear which quote card you would like to use.I also like to trim off the perforated edge so it has a neat finish.

Next take your plastic packaging bag or sandwich bag and spray your Kaiser Mist colours together in a cluster. You don’t need to go crazy, less is more for this technique. Then spray over the Kaiser Mist with the water mist. This is totally optional, I find by doing so gives a softer result. If bold is your tune then don’t add your water.

*TIP- Don’t over spray or saturate.

Next, take your sentiments card and face down press over the watercolours on the plastic bag.Keep moving and pressing the card around until you are happy with the result.Allow it to dry fully!  It will look a little something like this-

Next take your fave piece of paper from the paper pad….(It will be hard to decide as they are all so pretty!)……And fold it in half.Using the sentiments card as a guide, trim down the paper to size, allowing a slight border.

*TIP- Do make sure the Kaiser Mist is fully dry!

Using double sided tape, adhere the card to the backing…..

All that is left to do now is embellish. I told you they were quick! Once you have finished you will have some pretty little gift tags like these…………..

I hope my tutorial has given you some inspiration today.I have also prepared a short process video for you to watch as well.Enjoy!!

Until next time,

Kylie.
