Alphabet Clear Stamps Week: Cards
Hello everyone!
Hopefully you are enjoying the weeks posts on Kaisercraft’s Alphabet Clear Stamps!
Today we have Michelle Frisby, Svetlana Austin and Kirsty Piper showing us all how you can utilize the stamps on cards.
ENJOY!
Michelle Frisby:
The internet has definitely made the big wide world, a whole lot smaller in so many ways. We now have the opportunity to ‘google’ so many things and one thing that I ‘googled’ just recently was in relation to language translations.
I made a card for a Swedish friend to say hello or in her native tongue … ‘hej’ … you know who I’m waving at!
“Hej” Card By Michelle Frisby
Materials used :
CS783 cartoon font stamps, P640 Chanteuse Collection – Vivo and Eco, paper blooms – F627 Coconut, F640 Fairy Floss, EM923 paper tags and shapes – white, SB787 hot pink pearls
Extras : cardstock, embroidery thread, netting/mesh, peg, twine
I’ve got another friend that is making her way over to the other side of the world later this year to visit Paris – ‘bonjour’ my friend.

So I thought that I would use my new clear stamps and stamp the appropriate ‘hello’ and say hi to both of them.
Opening the mail and finding a handmade card definitely brings a smile to my face. Whether that be a birthday card, a Christmas card or a card to just say hello …
So wherever you live in the world, be it morning, noon or night … a big hello from all of us on the 2011-2012 Kaisercraft Design Team …

Svetlana Austin:
“You are Very Special” Card By Svetlana Austin
Materials used:
Blae & Ivy Collection – Valley (P 699), Sky (P 698), Sticker Sheet (SS 106);
Clear Stamps Alpha – Vintage Script (CS 782), Typewriter Font (CS 785);
Lace – White (EM 926); Mini Crochet Doily Flower – Nursery (EM 953); Pearl Strip – Chocolate (PL 504); Pearl Brad – Soft Blue (EM 933).
Other products:
Cardstock, glimmer-mist, ink, pen.
Tips:
To make the stamped writing on the card look a little bit softer, first I inked the stamps with brown ink and only then with black. I also added some doodling with golden pen to the lives on the sticker, which gave it some contrast but preserved the overall softness of the card.
