On the Move Cards
We are moving right along with this weeks reveal of collections. ” ON THE MOVE” is really fun and can be used in a variety of ways. Vicki, Hilde and Lori have been working hard to create some really amazing cards for you…let’s see what they’ve done.
“Cole’s Card ” by Lori Williams Leng

Lori Says:
“Last week at school it was my son’s turn to be “Star of the Week” All week long the class celebrates one child in various ways. On the last day of school I was supposed to send a letter, or poem about how I felt about my son and they read it aloud to the entire class. Of course, I had to make a card for my letter. I figured that is the best way I can express myself. I was so happy to have the new On The Move collection to create just the perfect card for him. Let’s just say it was a raging success

Tuesday Tip: Baubles
“Hi there and welcome to the Tuesday Tip. It is Vicki here to share with you a little hanging decoration which I have had a lot of fun making. I recently made a few baubles using the “Merry Medley” collection” :

“I thought I would do a different take on the above baubles and use the latest release from Kaisercraft ‘Sweet Nothings’.”

“Firstly take your circle punch and punch 20 circles out from various patterned papers.”

“Take each circle and draw a triangle shape to form the edges and fold each edge up like shown.”

“Take 5 circles and adhere the sides together to form and top of the decoration. For this decoration I have folded the edges inside the ball so the finish is smooth – for another option adhere the edges on the outside like I have done with this “Merry Medley” decoration.”

“Continue to add triangle until you have formed a ball. Insert a piece of ribbon into the top of your ball before setting it aside to dry.”

Let your ball completely dry before embellishing with Mini Blooms and Pearl Strips.

Materials list: Kaisercraft – Sweet Nothings – Paper Pad, Kaisercraft – Pearl Strips (Latte), Kaisercraft – Mini Paper Blooms, Kaisercraft – Pearl Brads – Pearl, Misc Ribbon.

“Self Portrait of a Five Year Old” Layout By Lori Williams Leng

Lori Says:
“I was so tickled when I downloaded pictures from my camera one day to discover my five year old had gotten a hold of my camera frommy purse and proceeded to take some self portraits. I’m amazed how a five year old has no trouble running a digital camera, I-Pad or even the TV with ease. WOW!! Times have certainly changed since I was a kid. Anyhow, I had to do a layout with my little artists pictures and I still think he’s adorable even THAT CLOSE UP. On the Move papers cried out to be used for this layout..and I think the end result was just what I had in mind.
