My Little Toot is Oh-So-Cute!

Happy Sunday guys! This year is SO flying past! I can’t believe another weekend has already been and gone!! Kirsty and Leanne here to share some more projects using Little Toot!

Kirsty:

I introduced you guys to my cute little nephew Freddie earlier in the week :) (Nope, no bias from this Aunty here at all!) Sadly, we won’t get to see Freddie very often, as he lives all the way down the other end of the country…a 2 day drive. I do however want him to know that our family think of him and love him lots, so I used my Little Toot collection to make this little baby book for his mummy and daddy to read to him :)

Kirsty Piper: Who Loves Freddie? Little Toot Collection: Beep(P690), Bumper(P692), Putt(P688) Specialty paper-Traffic Jam(PS154), Rub ons(RB923), 6 1/2″ Paper Pad(PP846), Sticker Sheet(SS105) KaiserCraft Other: Alphabets: Cream(AS222), Tangerine(AS223), Red(AS224), Avocado(AS218), Brown(AS225) Mini Alphas: Black and White(MA501), Cherry Red(MA508), White and Black(MA502), Latte(MA 506)

I kept the pages very simple, cutting my base cardstock into 7 inch squares, so I could easily just mount the pages from the 6 1/2″ Paper Pad. I also kept each page’s layout the same, to give both cohesion to the project and to keep things nice and simple ;)

I also really played up the travel theme…both to complement the Little Toot embellishments and papers and because little boys looooooove trucks ;)

But I don’t think I’ll be winning any Children’s book writing prizes just yet ;)

Leanne:

I love this range of boy papers, so cute and heaps of fun to play with

Leanne Love: Little Toot Collection: Bumper(P692), Sticker Sheet (SS105) Kaisercraft other:  Mini Alphas (MA502), Paint White (KC001), Ink (IP714)

My little boy has all grown up now so I think that maybe my nephew will be getting this frame.

We hope you have enjoyed our shares today and we’ll be back tomorrow for more.

Beyond The Page with Blae and Ivy

Good Morning Everyone,

What a better way to start a Sunday morning then with some gorgeous Beyond The Page projects showcasing the gorgeous “Blae & Ivy” Collection.

Cassandra Says ” I love these new frames, there are so many possibilities using and creating with them. It is always fun to see what people will come up with. I have chosen to decorate this frame for my Grandmother, featuring photo’s of her and my Grandfather in days gone by. I love the way the black and white images pop off the page”.

Kaisercraft Materials List: Long Frame Photo Display (SB2112), Mystic Cove (P697), Sky (P698), Field (P696), Meadow (P695), Valley (P699), Mini Journal Tags (JT623), Sticker Sheet (SS106), Lace (EM928), Paper Blooms (F631 & 633 & 628), Pearls (SB715), Acrylic Paint (KC046)

I have hidden Mini Journal Tags behind the photo’s for layering and dimension, and also foam tape to make the images pop.

Janna Says “I tend to create colourful projects but, I really enjoyed creating this rather classical photo frame. Blae and Ivy makes it easy to highlight black and white photo’s without withdrawing the attention from them”.

To create a slightly shabby look, I sanded the edges of the photo frame.

And here is a project I forgot to share earlier in the week! (oops)

It is a Beyond The Page project featuring the “Little Toot” collection. I have decorated one of the new 6 Frame Photo Displays with the gorgeous ”Little Toot”. It was so much fun to work with this paper, and the Kaisercraft Acrylic Red paint just makes it all pop!

Little Toot Layouts!

Good Afternoon guys! Leanne and Kirsty here to share some Little Toot Layouts with you!

Kirsty:

When my sisters and I traveled up to see my mum when she was sick last year, we took so many ‘road’ photos. I think the thing that fascinated me the most about our trip up to Charter’s Towers was the vast nothingness that we were driving through. No buildings, no people…not even any twists or turns in the road! I used one of these photos on my LO;

Kirsty Piper: Road trip: Little Toot Collection: Honk(P886), Bang(P867), Beep(P690), Screech(P689), 6 1/2″ Paper pad(PP846), Sticker Sheet(SS105), Journal tags(JT622) Kaisercraft other: Alphas Stickers-red(AS224), Grosgrain Ribbon- Naturals(RI612), Mounting Foam Dots(T302)

Leanne:

Don’t you just adore this awesome range.  I have had so much fun playing with this even though my little boy has all grown up.  I did however manage to find a cute photo that I had been meaning to scrap for ever but never had the right papers, until now that is.

Leanne Love: dump truck: Little Toot Collection: Cruise(P691), Bang(P867), Beep (690), 6 1/2? Paper pad(PP846), Traffic Jam (PS154), Clear Stamps (CS780) Kaisercraft other: Mini Alphas (MA501) Alpha#1 (CB107)

I used walnut crystals and water to obtain the rust looking splotches on the letters.  It is a great effect and is fantastic for masculine pages.
