A gift for the one you love

Today, I have a really quick and easy valentines gift to show you.  They are so simple, you can whip them up in no time, and give them to all your loved ones, filled with their favorite treats this valentines day.

Valentines gift by Karen Shady

Materials used: Love notes collection, specialty paper-admirer (PS132), patterned paper-adore (P606), foil sticker embellishment pack (EM944) rub ons (RB889)

other: cricut, martha stewart punch, string, tag, double sided tape.

You simply take a large scalloped circle ( I cut mine on my cricut, but you could also just use a plain circle shape, using a plate, or saucepan lid as a template) Cut the cirle in half, you need 1 half for each cone. Fold the half sheet into a cone shape, and attach at the back with double sided tape. Then simply decorate it as you desire, and fill it with your loved ones favorite treat.

A big thankyou to my son Jack for being a fabulous model :)

Cards for Mum…

Hi, its Karen here again with more ‘Love notes’  to share with you.

With the year steaming ahead, it wont be long before its mothers day again. So I decided to use the Love notes papers to make some Mothers day cards. I have created a little window card first, and have used one of Kaisercrafts ‘rub on sentiments’  for the message inside the card.

‘A card for Mum’ by Karen Shady

materials used: Love notes patterned papers, dreamy (P607), love song (P605), adore (P606), printed chipboard (CB120), rub ons (RB889), rub ons-english rose (RB887), Kaisercraft paper flowers, lipstick, pink & white, pearls-snow (SB794) other: spellbinder die

For the next card, I have made a little bookplate, by cutting a shape with my die cutter, painting it with Kaisercrafts ‘antique white’ paint, and rubbing randomly around the edges with some metalic rub on. I then used Kaisercrafts  mini clear stamp “Mother” as the sentiment for the card.

Secret Diary and Love Notes

Hi there.  It is Vicki here to share a little diary I have made for my eldest daughter Natasja, with the help of Kaisercraft’s Diary and the ‘love notes’ collection.

I am not sure what it is about girls and their secret dairies but we sure have a few around the house under lock and key.  With that in mind I had to include a little pocket for her secret notes.

With lots of pink and shine from the ‘love notes’ foil paper – together with hearts galore and bling – what more could a little girl want!

I think it’s love?

Hi there,

Today, I want to share with you a layout I did of my Daughter. She has always had such a love of animals. And as a little girl, bought home all shapes and forms of little creatures, claiming they needed her to look after them. We have had injured birds, kangaroos, stray dogs, and cats, orphaned lambs,  baby chickens and ducks, even blue tongue lizards. This layout shows her playing with her Nan and Pops dogs, you can see how much they love eachother :)

Again I chose to use the softer colours in this collection, I added a small amount of light green to the mix also, and am happy with the result. The wooden flourish words look great coloured with Kaisercraft ink. I used ‘hot pink’ for mine

Getting Organised!

Yes, this year I WILL be organised. I will be on time. I will take a shopping list to the supermarket. I will remember people’s birthdays…

Okay, okay. I know, I had the same resolution for the past 5 years last year, and clearly, it didn’t happen. But with the help of KaiserCraft’s gorgeous diary, I am hoping to at the very least, remember everyone’s birthdays!

KirstyPiper; My Birthday Diary. Love Notes Collection: Patterned Papers-Adore(P606), Love Song(P605), Together(P608), Embellishment Pack- Love Notes Envelopes(EM943), KaiserCraft Other- Diaru(SB2096), KaiserColor Black(KC031), Lace Pack Black(EM929), Mini Alphas Black and White(MA502), Antique Rose Flourish-Classic(RS461)

I used the gorgeous Love Notes collection to decorate this easy to assemble diary, and, with the help of some dividers and the super cute Mini envelopes, I have everything in this diary to help with my plan to send all my friends and family a birthday card ON TIME this year!

The divider for each month has a pocket with which I am making cards to fill for each month, all I need to do is look at the week ahead, see who’s birthday it is and pop the pre-made cards into the post!

I even filled up the mini envelope with postage stamps!
