Long live Kaisercraft’s 6inch paper pads!

I´m sure you have noticed them.

The 6” paper pads that comes along with every collection.

They come in handy for all those small projects that you don’t really want to cut up a 12” sheet of paper for.  And not only that, you don’t even need any additional embellishments as there are several papers in the packs with tags, journaling spots and other useful things on them, not to mention the  specialty papers that are flocked or foiled. I thought I´d share a two projects made mainly with theser paper pads.

Birthday card:

Items used: Paper pad PP831, Simple Stitches P568, Journal Tags JT607, Embellishment Pack- Buttons EM936, Wooden flourishes  Bird cages FL302, Grossgrain Ribbon.

On this cute little chest of drawers I have used papers pads from two different collections Homemade and Secret Bird Society. I wanted it to have a look that would fit together with the large desk top organizer I made a while back as I´m planning to have them both on my desk.

Items used: SB2088 Chest of Drawers, Paper pad PP831 (Homemade) , Paper pad PP827 (Secret Bird Society), Embellishment Pack- Buttons EM936, Paper flowers Chocolate F622, Secret Bird Society Paper Undercover P548, Clear Stamps CS748, Chest of Drawers SB2088

I just love using the 6″ Paper Pads for cardmaking. I love that I can use all of the gorgeous patterened papers without the guilt of cutting into a whole 12×12 sheet of paper!

I also love the pages of embellishments that come in the 6″ Paper Pads. Often when I am searching for the perfect finishing touch or journalling spot, i will open up the paper pads and voila!

Kirsty Piper: Homemade Card: Homemade Collection: 6″ Paper Pad(PP831), Clear Stamps (CS764). KaiserCraft Other: Pearl Strip Chocolate(PL504), Pearl Brads Ice Green(EM934), Lace Pack Cream(Em927)

And just look at this super cute little stamp! I think I will be popping this on the back of all of my cards from now on!

Homemade Home Decor

Kirsty

I live in a house that is almost 100 years old. When I saw the Homemade collection, I immediately wanted to create something for one of my walls as the colours in the collection suited my old home perfectly!

Kirsty Piper: Homemade Collection: Patterned Papers Simple Stitches(P568), Toasty Treats(P570), Rustic Recipes (P571), Cosy Cottage(P572). 6″ Paper Pad. KaiserCraft other: Funky Wreath(SB2077), KaiserColour Paint Antique White(KC002) Lace Pack cream (EM927)

The handmade roses add lots of dimension to the project.

And a little spritz of Glimmer Mist to the Roses made from the Rustic Recipes Patterned Paper (P571) added the perfect amount of coppery sparkle to my Funky Wreath.

Sweet Page Shares.

No matter how carefully I plan my birthday photo taking, most of my photos end up mismatched and BRIGHT! I then struggle to scrap them in a way in which I am happy, and sadly, often my birthday photos end up being pushed aside in favor of more subdued photographs. The Candy Lane range is perfect for scrapping those bright and cheery birthday photos, and I love the result!

Kirsty Piper: Candy Lane; She Always Brought her own Party: Candy Lane Patterned Papers- Raspberry Fizz(P579), Toffee Apple(P578), Mango Drops(P576), Candy Lane other- 6×6 Paper Pad(PP832), Printed Chipboard(CB117), Clear Stamps(CS765) Embellishment Pack (EM939) Kaisercraft Other- Alphas; Avocado (AS218), White(AS221), Black and White Mini Alphas(MA501), Foam dots(T302)

I love how just a touch of white and black tie all these colours together easily.

I also love the huge variety of designs on the patterned papers that just BEG to be hand cut and layered onto the page!

Monika:

I usually bake a cake for my daughters birthday parties.  Throughout the years we had cakes in all shapes – Hello Kitty, Disney Princesses and Winnie the Pooh.  But regardless of the shapes and tastes, the kids never really eat them so this year I decided to make cupcakes. I can tell you that when we brought them out every little six-year old went “Ohhhh”.

The Candy Lane collection is made for these photos and my daughter really loves this layout.

Items used:

Tutti Fruit P575, Sherbert P577, Mango Drops P576, Paper pad PP832, Treats Glitter PS121, Embellishment Pack- Rhinestone Flowers EM939, Chipboard CB117, Rhinestones, Grossgrain ribbon, and lace.

Other: Chipboard letters

Let’s Party!

When I first saw the Candy Lane collection, all I could think about was birthday parties.

Banners are a big trend at the moment so I thought I’d have a go at making a Happy Birthday banner.  But then I figured why stop there?

I inked the chipboard alphas with hot pink ink before using a white pen to add dots all over before reinking with hot pink ink again.  The dots I added with the pen have added small indentations in the chipboard to give the alphas a little personality.

You cannot have a party without invitations.  Kaisercraft have some fabulous stamps and rubons that made creating these invitations a breeze.

I had saved a template long ago for making these super cute purse bags.  They are just waiting to be stuffed full of lollies and given as thankyou gifts.

This was such a fun and rewarding project to create.  A matching set just waiting to be used for the perfect girlie birthday party.
