Q3 Blog Party – Never before seen Kaisercraft cards and layouts!

This is what our Q3 Blog Party is all about – fresh and exciting NEW projects!!
Our products are so NEW our design team haven’t even got their hands on the product yet…. so our graphic design team and Kaisercraft employees have come up with layouts and projects of their own…
But first up….. NEW digital layouts!!
So we all know how creative and inspiring our digital CT is, right?
We expose their talents in almost every blog post that even mentions our digital products and you’ve seen for yourselves the kind of incredible work they produce with nothing more than a few computer files.
Well, one thing you might not know is how quickly they produce their amazing layouts and how many are sitting in our inbox just waiting for their moment in the sun!
So we decided to take a look back at some of our older digital collections with some never before seen layouts by our digi CT…we hope you draw some inspiration from these and show our CT the appreciation they deserve!
First up we have a Pennyroyale layout by Kathleen, who is officially our newest cover girl…so why don’t we take this opportunity to congratulate her once again! One of Kathleen’s layouts, featuring a mixture of Kaisercraft digital products, was recently chosen for the cover of UK Scrapbook Magazine, and several more layouts and a feature article can also be found inside. Well done to Kathleen on her success, and of course the rest of our CT – we love what these ladies do and we love their generosity in sharing their talents with us!
The layout, called “Puppy”, features her youngest daughter, Jaimee, playing with her grandparents’ dog. Too cute!
We also have a very sweet contribution from Candice, which uses our ultra-girly and butterfly-themed collection, Flutterby, and features wonderfully emotive pictures of her daughter as the centrepiece.
Now, we know you love girl’s collections but some of our most positive feedback on digital products has been about our boys’ ranges…so here we have a gorgeous Grunge layout by Katharyn that really eccentuates the collection’s textural dimensions.
And finally, we couldn’t resist this beautiful Rustic Charm layout by Donna – we think Justin Kyle is precious and we seriously like the random little elements dotted around the photo.
So there you have it – some unearthed layouts from our digital creative team that have never before seen the light of day! What do you think? Which of these melts your heart and makes it beat a little bit faster?
And now onto some brand new Q3 layouts and cards from Kaisercraft employees!!
The first up from Laine, the graphic designer behind our new Peachy Keen collection (out March this year).
“As a graphic designer, it can sometimes be hard to visualise how scrappers will want to use our papers, so what better way to learn than to dive head first into scrapping ourselves..?! I always find it somewhat challenging when asked to scrap but I really enjoyed using these papers and mixing the Bazz, the natural cardstock and getting the opportunity to play with the BRAND NEW embellishments. I absolutely LOVE the Peachy Keen embellies – the picture pearls and embroidered flowers are absolutely divine, and speaking from experience (!), are a real joy to use!”

Materials: Peachy Keen papers, Peachy Keen Embellishment Pack – pearl pictures & embroidered flowers, Peachy Keen Coloured Rubons, Bazzill Cardstock – Cream & Dark Brown
Natural Card, Black pen for doodling.
Next up a layout from Mikala, the designer behind Gypsy Sisters:
“I really enjoyed using Gypsy Sisters because I love the colours so much! I found the Diecuts were a quick and easy way of putting some feeling into the layout, and I really love the new shape and vibrancy of the flowers from the Embellishment Pack.”

Materials: I have used Gypsy Sisters paper range, Die Cuts, Flowers from the Embellishment Pack, Ribbon from RI609 Ocean and SB1212 8mm Metallics Brads. I also used a punch for the scallop strip at the bottom and inked the edges with dark purple ink.
And next, a layout from Jess, the girl who designed Made with Love!
“Made with love’s playfully pretty colours can not only be used to capture romantic photos, but also girlie moments.
The multiple heart cut-outs made great elements in this layout, as well as the felt embellishments.
The banner page “Cupcake” used for the background, helped to create a layout so easily…“

Materials: Made with Love paper, Made with love embellishment pack (both ribbon and felt badges used), Black Fine liner for stitching, Made with love Coloured rub-ons.
And now a couple of cards from the girls:

Card by Mikala: Gypsy Sisters paper, die cut elements, mixed embellishment pack (paper flowers).

Card by Jess, materials: Kaiser Card – Pink, Made with love paper, Bazzil White Paper, Black Fineliner for stiching, Made with love black rub-ons, Made With love Embellishments – Felt Heart.
And a few more layouts Alison made to show that specific themed paper’s don’t have to be limited to what they were designed for!
For example, Alison’s first layout shows us that Valentine’s Day/love themed paper can be used for party photos!

“Prom Party” layout by Alison Wood: Made with love patterned paper, black rubons, die cut elements, alpha stickers, RB801 Experience rubon, Shaken not stirred clear stamp.
And boy themed papers can be used for more party photos…..

‘Party time’ layout by Alison Wood: Shaken not stirred papers, rubons, die cut elements, alpha stickers. Other: bingo wooden number.
And last but not least – don’t you love bright prints and patterns??

So what are your plans for Kaisercraft’s Q3 collections??

Amour boasts 12 papers in caramelly browns and refined pale pinks and greens, three brush sets with a heavy emphasis on stitching and elements ranging from buttons and frayed ribbons to felt flowers and co-ordinating tags and frames.
Amour will come just in time for Valentines Day and is just right for scrapping photos of your other half, family snaps from previous generations and elegant baby photos for new couples.
